Black Line

I have had this television replaced twice and now I'm on my 4th or 5th call to Sony about this TV. No matter which input I put it on, or even if I use the built in Netflix and YouTube apps there is a horizontal black line running right through the TV. This TV is garbage. Also upset with this whole ordeal because I have had to in-mount and mount the TV on the wall several times now. I hope this time Sony steps up to the plate and either upgrades my television to one that actually works with no problems, or refunds my money

Sony Service is horrible

I've had this TV for 4 months. Display is defective and i've been waiting over a week to know what Sony is going to do about it. They sent a local tech who confirmed the TV needs to be replaced but no word from Sony yet. Horrible service.

Sony failed me

I bought this TV online on a discount during boxing day. I was happy of the price, and think that it is Sony, it was reliable. Boy, I was so wrong! I have experienced Netflix freezing, TV rebooting by itself. I had spent too much time talking on the phone troubleshooting with Sony tech support. After no progress, they're sending a local service tech to replace my TV's main board. Now, I have to take down my TV as it is wall mounted. I am not really impressed at all. This would be my first and last purchase of any Sony TVs.

Very poor quality audio

Recently purchased this model, very disappointed with the quality of the sound, Sony must have installed the cheapest speakers they could find. Will need to purchase a sound bar to help improve on the audio. Contacted the store, they agreed with Sony's poor speakers provided for this model and suggested a more expensive model to improve the audio quality, nice upsale attempt BB. The picture quality is good, however thinking about returning the TV . Would recommend BB to inform customers of the audio performance prior to having another unsatisfied customer.

very poor sound system

We just purchased this product and we are very disappointed with the quality of the audio. The picture is fine however the quality of the sound is so very poor, we will be returning the product to the store. When following up with the store, the store did admit the TV's speaker system is at best subject, and suggested getting a sound bar to improve the sound. Wished they would have informed me at the time of purchase of the sound quality. At this point we do not want to spent additional money to make Sony's TV perform better. We do not recommend this product.

Pretty good for the Price

It isn't amazing in quality, but it isn't terrible as some seem to say. Big size upgrade for us and the TV looks sleek. The picture is not bad, I think the best place to see reviews are some of the internet rating sites against random ramblings. I don't think you are getting cut edge technology or something that rivals OLEDs in picture but it is very solid, and no major complaints. At the price, its a good deal for the size.

Bought this TV during the Black Friday sale..It is by far the best TV for the price..The only problem I have with the TV is you can't add any apps other than what the TV comes with..Just remember...You get what you pay for...Very happy with the TV....

Complete trash

There is a reason a tv in this size is so cheap. Extremely disappointed in this purchase and will be returning. Picture looks nothing like it does in store. Don't even bother trying to game with this. My 10 year old tv looks better than this garbage! Buyer beware!

Great TV

This Sony Bravia is a Great TV. We tried a higher end 65" 4K TV, but it wouldn't fit our cabinet, This model is actually a nicer TV overall than the larger more expensive 65" set. Can't be beat for the price. Has great sound compared to most other 4K TV these days. Viewing angle is great, minimal screen glare, the remote is very user friendly, I really can't say anything bad about this set. The optical audio works perfect with our sound system. For the price it's a lot of TV.

Awesom 60” 4K TV

Awesom TV, easy to set up and no sound issues with my optical output to Sherwood receiver. Came with latest SONY software already installed, for anyone having an issue you should update the software first. Was happy with my older 1080p but decided to upgrade to the 4K when this went on sale, great product value for the price. 4.5-5 star rating.

The Best TV I owned yet

I’ve been using this TV for few months now and I couldn’t be happier. Everything works fine and I am so amazed by the quality of the images on 4K Blu-ray discs and streams. One person has a comment below saying the sound lags with optical cable, I checked with Optical cable to my Yamaha AV receiver and there was no lag at all – sound is spot on! Please don’t hesitate to buy this TV, you won’t regret it.

Wait for Sony to fix sound sync issue

When viewing content from the TV apps (e.g. Netflix, Youtube), the sound lags the video by about 0.2 to 0.3 seconds. This is quite annoying, enough that I will return the TV unless it is resolved soon with firmware update. This problem is when sound is sent to an AV Receiver via the optical audio output on the TV. The AV Receiver is not at fault: it worked fine with previous TV from a competing brand. The sound sync issue seems to be affecting other recent Bravia TV models (judging from a number of threads on several user group sites). I have tried all combinations of sound settings, with the only result being 3 to 4 hours of my time wasted. It should be relatively easy for Sony to fix this through firmware. Before buying, ask the vendor about this issue, and if Sony has fixed it. If it has been fix, the TV is otherwise a nice product. I will update this review if the issue is fixed, using "Sound Sync Issue Resolved".
