Player will not play any of my usb drive videos

Player works fine with disks and wifi access but it will not play mp4/mkv/avi or any other storage drive file I have (you get an error message stating file is either corrupt or not supported). Interestingly my Panasonic players work flawlessly with those files.

It's okay

I've had this about seven/eight months before it starting freezing. It will now freeze almost everyday it's on at least once. It's pretty cheaply made.

Above avegage player

The 4K upscaling is impressive. The last Sony player I bought went dead on me in about 7 months. Hoping this one will last longer. This player does not accept exFat video from my external hard drive. Other than that this is an above average 3D blu-ray player.

Sony Blue ray player with upscaling

The player was easy to install and use. The picture quality is much better than my previous DVD player. I am very happy with this unit.

Very disappointed

Hoped to upgrade home theatre system to stream Netflix movies, play blu-ray discs etc. Installation showed good connection to Wi-Fi but when tried to connect any apps got "network connection error" message. Would not even play Blu-ray disc though worked fine with DVD. Evidently very common experience with this product, luckily happened straight out of the box, so can return it.

Sony 3D Blu-ray Player with 4K Upscaling & Wi-Fi (BDPS6700/CA)

This player pleased me so much I bought a second one just days after receiving my first player...and it didn't hurt that they were on sale. The wifi connection was as easy as entering the username and the network password...the device did the updates etc. an important issue for me...some older BD players are either difficult or impossible to connect, even with hard wire, depending on your router. It has an easy to use USB interface too USB3 etc., handy for those pics and videos that you are transferring from your PC or Mac...Mirroring is also available but why when large storage USB is so much easier. My players are paired with Sony TVs so they work well together and the smaller foot -print means more room for other "stuff" in consoles or on shelves and they are light enough to be mounted under shelves with 2" of mine is mounted this way. Neither unit is paired with 4K or 3D TVs so I cannot comment on those features...My Sony 4K TV already upgrades the HD images supplied by an older Sony HD BD player... This player allows you to upgrade older TVs to nearly "Smart TV" with a selection of Android Apps...and a dedicated NetFlix button too just like 4K TVs or Apple TV. For me and my usage these units get a 5/5
