Sony SRS-XB23 EXTRA BASS Waterproof Bluetooth Wireless Speaker - Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this Bluetooth speaker is simply amazing! Waterproof, dust proof, and resistant to drops, this speaker is hardy and incredibly tough! It has an extremely long battery life. I used it for over 8 hours straight yesterday and it still didn't die. It provides crisp and immersive sound. It's really incredible for electronic music, the bass is unstoppable! With two speakers, the bass really stomps. This speaker is perfect for work/parties/bonfires/camping. The best part for me, aside from the sound quality, is the battery life. I'm extremely impressed. It also charges very fast, which is surprising given the longevity of the charge. This is the ultimate gift and anyone would be happy to receive it! I can't praise it enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony SRS-XB23 Portable Bluetooth speaker is a small speaker that packs a powerful punch. It is very lightweight but don’t let that fool you. We took this camping this past weekend and it basically played the entire time on a single charge. We used the lanyard to hook it to one of the awning arms and left it. And it looked good as new when we packed up to leave. Pros: The initial connection to my iPhone 7 (and my sons) was a breeze. Simply open up the settings app, click on the SONY SRS and it was playing almost immediately. Take the time and download the Sony Music Center app if you purchase this speaker. It truly improves the experience of this speaker. Sound quality is exceptional. The speaker has a great bass. The highs and lows are great as well. The music is crystal clear and the range to the phone/music source is remarkable. I was more than 75 ft away at one point and it never lost connection with my phone. I have several other Bluetooth speakers, but this Sony SRS-XB23 is by far the best of them. Build: The build of this speaker is top notch. As I said, we attached it to the awning arm and left it. It was in the sun, shade, rain, wind, and like that little pink bunny, it kept going and going and going. I was a little weary of the waterproof ability at one point, because we had a very heavy rain and I thought about the speaker about half way through, but it survived, and the sound was still exceptional. This is a well built speaker that is very tough. VERY TOUGH. Controls: Sony also did a fine job of the layout of the speaker controls. The on/off button, volume up/down next song/previous song, etc. are all easy to locate and use. Charge: It came with a charge that was about half charged. I charged it for about three hours and it was fully charged. The provided charging cable attaches easily. Cons: For me, there are none. I truly enjoy the speaker and can’t wait to try it out in a couple of weeks at Myrtle Beach. Can’t wait!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received your Sony SRS-XB23 Extra Bass Speaker on Thursday 6th August in excellent condition. Unpacked speaker, read the instructions and put the speaker on charge. The code to use on a phone camera is an excellent addition to the instruction leaflet, this worked really well and was a great help, please put this on all Sony products. Connecting via Bluetooth was very easy, no problem. I have connected my iPhone and iPad. The control panel is a great feature especially the voice telling you it is connected to Bluetooth and the battery capacity. Being able to connect two together for stereo sound is a bonus. First time playing tried all sorts of music rock, country, classical, and pop all sounded great both base and treble, the bees being especially good. The build is really good, very sturdy, good looking, and will stand up to a lot of abuse. The controls on the speaker worked without any problems. My phone rang, and answering and conducting the call was flawless.I have used the speaker in the shower, it got very steamy but the sound was just great, and the moisture did not affect it in any way. I have used the speaker outside when doing the weeding in the garden, it was good to have music while I worked. Also while relaxing in my spare time in the garden. As I am disabled and use a motor scooter I put the speaker in the basket so I can have music on the go, better than the radio in my car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great speaker! Easy to connect and use. Has good sound quality sound. Wish base was a little better but overall for price point this is a great portable speaker. Wish it had a magnet to connect to a post but strap comes in handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in Florida so we tend to go to a lot of barbecues and outdoor activities. It's nice to be able to create some ambiance or kick off some dance music to get everyone to loosen up. This speaker has really impressive sound for its size, and was a breeze to set up. I like that it's vertical instead of horizontal like other brands, because less sound gets absorbed by the ground or whatever you're setting it on. They also did a good job with the water-resistant plugs. Some of the other Bluetooth speakers I had in the past that were "waterproof" had rubber that fell right out of the ports. All in all I'm very impressed with Sony's product.
