So glad to see my favorite Starbucks coffee available in k-cups now. I LOVE Pike Place in a Misto when I go into a Starbucks store, so I was thrilled to see Pike Place on my[@] shelf. This is really great stuff. I don't like very many of the other k-cup varieties, and I'm very picky. This one is almost as good as in the store. It's not as fresh tasting, which is the trade off for using a Keurig, in my opinion. Quick, hassle-free coffee but that often comes with a compromise in taste. With the Pike Place, I don't feel like I'm compromising that much. I would highly recommend this coffee. I use the largest cup setting on my brewer and it's perfect.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!- April 13, 2012
I use Pike in the form of K-cups and in ground form for my drip pot, I buy directly @ [@]. ( FYI - Pike is the DEFAULT coffee made at ALL Starbucks). First off everyone's taste buds are different. If you can appreciate a strong , smooth well balanced cup of coffee then this is for you! It is NOT acidity, my advice to those who did not like it you might try using more water while brewing.... I prefer the 7.25 - 9.25 oz per K-cup. My other FAVs are Caribou / Donut Shop by Coffee People. In a Pinch I will use Dunkin Donuts Dark Roast - althought D&D in my opinion has too much acidity. good luck in finding your favorite cup of enjoyment!!!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Just like the store- November 21, 2011
If you frequent Starbucks, like I do, you know exactly what it tastes like. I have a K-cup machine at home but I still try to go to Starbucks once a week. This coffee is perfect for me. You have to brew it in the 8-10 oz range or it is a bit week but the flavor is still very distinct. If you don't like Starbucks, don't get this. I love it. The big con is it is really expensive at the store compared even to the same size containers at the store. These cups are significantly more expensive!!! Like I said at the beginning I go to Starbucks often. I can drink the real stuff much cheeper there if I use a per cup expense.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
