The only add-on the joycon needed.

Makes the joy-con much more comfortable in your hands, and manage to fix some of the flaws. Must have if you intend to take the console out and play with a friends. Pros: The only accessory that convert the joy-con to a more proper controller. Great comfort, at least compared to stand-alone joy-cons. HD rumble is mostly unhindered unless it's 1-2 switch, which should not be played with the kit anyway. Rubber cover for control stick comes with the kit. Relatively easy to install and all buttons work fine. Cons: Shoulder buttons could be bigger (say on par with joy-con strap) and more symmetric. (Or even a more complex mechanism to move the buttons closer the shoulders) Other thoughts: Have not tried using with a skin and I would not recommend getting one in case it's in conflict, as the clip could damage the skin trying to close. The asymmetric design of the joy-con makes the left one more comfortable.

Almost like a PS3 Controller

Feels ALMOST like a PS3 controller. The thumb grips improve on the original design. No more opening the Shiekah slate by accident in the middle of a battle.

Thess are great

In my opinion these make the Joy Cons much more comfortable to hold. The analog stick extenders are actually pretty nice as well. I really only bought this for the grips but the sticks are a nice bonus. Feels nice in the hand and doesn't feel too cheap. These are also a lot easier to use than the Joy Con straps that come with the system. For the price, I think these are essential

These grips seem nice. I am however a little mixed. They are matte plastic, so not rubbery at all. They did come with rubber nubs to put on the joy-con joystick which is nice. They certainly make the joy-con more comfortable to hold (especially with my big hands), however, the right joy-con is sort of meh given the joystick is in the center. The left one feels much better, however, the 4 buttons are not far enough to the right side of the controller. So it will take a little getting used to. Not the fault of this product, but the design of the joy-cons which are designed more to be used upright and not side-ways. Beware. the plastic clip that opens to allow you to insert and then "lock" the joy-con in place. It is very flimsy, so just be careful and gentle with it when you open it up to put the joy-con in. Also, these are Left/Right specific. So if it feels like the joy-con is just not fitting, do not force it. The part that connects the joy-cons to the to the switch and the joy-con grip is offset, so just make sure to pay attention to it when you put them in the grips. if it seems off, it likely is, so try the other grip and it should fit. All-in-all, i give it 4/5. Wish is was more rubbery and the clip that opens is a bit flimsy.
