Tempur-Pedic Ergo Smartbase Upholstered Lifestyle Adjustable Bed / Base- Twin XL/Single XL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find the mattress extremely comfortable and really appreciate being able to raise the top half of the bed early in the night. This latter feature virtually eliminates any acid reflux episodes. I find that the sensors sometimes register times awake in error. Whether hey occasionally get confused about when my wife gets up instead of me I don't know. I appreciate the importance of trying to regularize when you go to bed and when you get up but I find getting a gray bar for a night when you slept in an extra 12 minutes annoying, not helpful. Despite some minor reservations, I find the bed has improved my overall sleep and I wake up more rested than before we got it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After delivery we discovered that this system would only connect to WIFI with a 2.4 GHz network, which is old technology. Our WIFI mesh router system only has 5 GHz, meaning we can't connect the Smart Base to WIFI. This renders the smart functions of the base completely useless. So, most of the functionality we expected won't work. Also, the "massage" function for the head and feet is a joke. The massage vibrations can only be felt if you are sleeping in the middle of the mattress. Since there are two of us in bed, that obviously does not work, and you can barely feel it when you are off center. Extremely disappointed with this product, especially considering the excessive cost.

I hate my smart base for many many different reasons but the big thing will be the app experience. The app feels like it was made in 2014 and is just running on fumes. Terrible UI. Second, the guys that came, installed it wrong or something because I have no ability to sync the beds together so that the base moves as a unit instead of individually. Third, every other manufacturer has a return policy on items like this to where if you don't like it within 90 days you can return it, Tempurpedic does not. TLDR: This base is expensive trash that doesn't do much beyond what other powered bases do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I had 0 desire to buy anything but a mattress. A salesman at a store didnt even tell us we were laying on a movable frame. It was the definition of try before you buy. He elevated us slightly and it was the most comfortable I have ever been laying on a mattress. After trying several models, we agreed when we laid down that the mattress was the most comfortable. After the bed was raised a bit, and then we returned to laying flat, it truly wasnt as comfortable. This told me 100% we needed to buy the adjustable base

My sleep apnea has improved with the base. When I snore the head of the bed raises to a non snoring position. I no longer wake up numerous times during the night. The USB ports on both sides of the bed means no more pulling short cords or dead phones in the morning. The Sleep Tracker is amazing. It records accurate and detailed data on my sleep quality which ai can share. Everything it says it would do, does it. I'm in love with this base and Can't stop thanking myself for getting it and Tempur-pedic for making it.
