the King of Queens the Complete Series (DVD)

It was a bit of a letdown to receive this dvd set with such cheap/poor packaging. To the point I had thought it was a knockoff!!! It isn’t. BUT it is made in Mexico. The discs come two to a slip of “cardboard”. With the outer packaging not much sturdier. If you were expecting a typical plastic casing then you’ll be letdown. It doesn’t contain a blooper reel... which is very odd for a comedy show. — However the price is very fair for the average viewer.

Got this on sale. Love the show but don’t think I’ve seen all the episodes so I wanted to get the series on DVD. I don’t love the packaging and the picture quality but I think the picture quality is poor due to how old the first season is. I haven’t watched the later seasons yet. Overall satisfied with the purchase for the price I paid.

Packaging is too tight so once you open box, you may want to find another way to store the individual DVDs. Glad to have the show but it is years worth of shows and no container to keep tgem in. The DVDs to have a sleeve they each fit into but that also is a tight fit (the carton is too tight and so are the paper sleeves.

First of all, the price was great for the this set. But there is good reason for that, the discs are in individual cardboard sleeves stuck into a box. No episode descriptions or any way to help you navigate where you are at. But again, if you want to buy the complete series on a budget, this is the way to go.

I loved King of Queens during it's original run. A great cast. And, many memorably funny episodes. I'd seen the box for it before at high prices. But waited. And waited. We come to now. The price was great. The speed in shipping was also great. An offer I couldn't refuse. Thanks.
