Unlike belt driven models, state of the art direct drive technology gets the TD402DD smoothly and quickly up to your selected speed and stays there with very low speed variations and wow & flutter error.

The turntable comes equipped with the new TP72 tonearm using a very stiff and lightweight carbon tube arm, with a detachable headshell fitted with a high-quality Moving Magnet cartridge. The combination of stable rotation, stiff tonearm, and high-quality cartridge with bonded elliptical diamond stylus, together with an integrated phono preamp stage, and auto start and auto stop functions will deliver a musically satisfying performance every time, for years to come.
