It's alright..

I have a big house with 12+ devices. I had two problems with Shaw's router. 1 - Radio didn't cover my house 2 - Buffer bloat resulting in mega lag. Bought this in hopes the radio would be strong enough to cover my house - It wasn't. Returned it for this reason. .. but this did resolve some of the lag issues I was experiencing. I was able to prioritize traffic to specific IP endpoints, which helped with online gaming activities... HOWEVER - I was hoping for a better set of management tools. This only allows me to prioritize an end point, I'd be more interested in getting a breakdown of which devices are flooding my network, or prioritizing a device on my network, rather than an endpoint. The three bands were nice, I was able to isolate a bunch of the devices. I don't need my printer making wifi-noise that competes with something that's trying to stream.

3 Months in Device Died - Poor warranty return

I've owned this device for a few months. It greatly improved my home Internet above what my rogers modem was capable of. Then one day it stopped transferring data. I rebooted and ignored it. Once week later it did it again. I rebooted but the power never came back. Currently trying to complete a Warranty return. Step 1. You must Register Device online (assuming you can when it dies) Step 2. Start warranty case online Step 3. Call and cite your warranty case you started online I'm torn on buying a competing brand or trying to complete the warranty process.

The Best Router I Have Ever Owned

Fantastic router. Easy Setup. Never Needs Rebooting. Never drops a client. And most importantly eliminated "dead zones" that I had in my 2-story house The auto-select for the tri-band works seamlessly for me. Wireless transfer speeds are very good, and hard wired gigabit speed is very fast.

Paired with Teksavvy DSL service quite well and relatively easy to set up. Much Better connectivity across household / multiple devices compared to other devices that we have had.

Range Noticeably Better

Purchased this to set up a better network at a residence that has the main internet connection in the garage home office which is aout 60 feet from the house. This router was very easy to set up and the range and increase in signal strength went from 1 bar to 4 (our of 5). Netflix streaming is flawless and 5G for smart phones also substantially better.

Great product

Great product with lots of range

Excellent Router

Easy to set up, range is fantastic, and big improvement from my last Netgear dual band router. Would highly recommend this one.

  • from Red Deer, AB

very disappointed

Parental controls are downright cryptic - difficult to understand. System time kept reverting back to year 1970. My wife's galaxy S7 edge had great difficulty connecting to the wifi for some reason. now i'm using it as a very expensive wired switch and wifi access point....what a waste. Bought an ASUS to replace it, super happy with that so far.

Solved my Problem

It has solved my intermittent Internet connection. At first I bought Linksys AC2600 for a replacement of AC900, AC 2600 came with an old version of firmware, When I seek help from Linksys, after 1 1/2 hour waiting on the line there were no customer service help, then I decided to return Linksys AC2600 and buy this TP-Link3200. Now I feel took an appropriate decision. For a test run I called TP-Link help line, unfortunately their customer service is not a great help either, its a Chinese help desk with Chinese English accent / poor phone line, very difficult to understand or make them understand. Overall reviews from my side, is, this is a very good router relating to coverage area and fantastic speed between the equipment connected with it, wired and wireless.

Doesn't want to connect

After many weeks of trying to get it to connect to our modem we are still not getting a green light. We've tried every solutions we could find online and none of them worked. Should have stuck with the Apple Airport.

Probably me and the settings, but everybody is upset because there is no wi-fi. Run out of patience., disgruntled customer.

My Rogers internet was extremely slow on Wifi in a way that I couldn't open a simple website, I decided to put my Rogers modem on bridge mode and use this TP-Link router instead. ITS INCREDIBLY FAST, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

TP-Link AC3200 Is Slick

Not a Huge Gamer or speed freak on the internet but like a quick and reliable network! This unit was very quick and easy to set up and work with the tether app. so you can manage your network by the click of a button which is very easy as well. For the inexperienced as well as intermediate computer person I would definitely recommend this router .

Fixed the connectivity issues

With this router, wireless signal is reaching rooms that were out of reach before. Impressive.

Router is great, app ain't

This router has all the features a home/home office/small office requires and is very stable wirelessly and wired. Security is easy to configure; SSID changes are quick and painless and firmware updates are simple. Range is tremendous for an (almost) top range wireless router. Device reconnections are semi fast but problem free. However all is not perfect - If you use the wizard configurator to connect the router to your modem, it will be problematic The Tether app is iffy and will not always allow you access You can't rename devices in the UI on the desktop And hiding the SSID will drop all devices on the network for some reason

Phenomenal router

I was having bandwidth issues and I narrowed it down to my existing dual band router. I decided to try this router while it was on sale. It's easy to setup, but the advanced settings are a bit technical, and some of it requires a bit of research. The tools aren't great, but if you have a channel scanner for your phone it's easy to setup your connection in a busy area like an apartment building and still have a strong connection.

Best investment!

Dont even look at another router. Bridge this to the Rogers mode/router they give you and you will be amazed. Was about to cancel my internet until I got this baby. I can get full signal in a cement garage 60ft away

Great firewall

Only had it for 3 weeks but it's been working very solid. Easy to configure in AP mode. Doesn't seem to get too hot and great range so far.

TP-LINK AC3200 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Router (Archer C3200)

This was a winner for us. Now our streaming services work better as well also.. Getting a much better speed when they "Determine network connection". My speeds are almost as fast as direct connection and have no problem getting wfi anywhere in my home including basement. Unit comes with a reset switch, one gigabit WAN port, four gigabit LAN ports, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port and an On/Off switch. The package contents also includes an Ethernet cable, the router's 12V/5A external power supply. The instruction manual was easy to follow.

If you can't stay connected to your PS4 this router may be for you!

Longer range than my old router (easily stays connected outside where the old router had weak or no signal) and stays connected to my PS4 (old router always dropped the signal). So far happy with my purchase but, I did buy it on sale and at full price I'm not sure this is the router I would go for.

Fixed all my Rogers internet issues. Bridged it with the junk Hitron modem/router Rogers supplies, and finally have the download speed i've been paying for. In a cement garage 50ft away I have still have blazing speeds. Thank you TP Link and Best buy for the great sale price.

missing WDS Functionality

Pretty good router overall the setup was a breeze, except if anyone planing on using the WDS feature then it's a disappointment there is't any options for WDS. Also note that there are no 3rd party firmwares (DDWRM, Tomato merlin asuswrt) available for the C3200 yet at the moment.

Tri-Band, Fix all my connectivity issues !

I deployed, Sonos, HD TV's and have kids and my devices on the network. Segmenting one 5ghz dedicated for Sonos and TV has fixed all my issues, Streaming of Audio and Video go flawlessly! This is a good unit If you are looking for something Robust Tri-Band . This router feels heavy and has power. The configuration is just easy! It is reliable and the best for the price!

TP-Link 3200

This router is one of the easiest routers to setup on the market. I am amazed at the power and range of this router. I walk five hundred feet from the house and still get a powerful WIFI signal. I am thoroughly pleased.

This is a great router

This router is great. My speeds are almost as fast as direct connection and have no problem getting wfi anywhere in my home (2 floors and almost 2700 sqft). This is a lot better than my old router. The lights are not too bright at night. This is a great router. I upgraded from a Netgear 600. I have fiber optic internet connection with 100Mbps up and download speeds. Using my old router I was getting speeds around 95. After several test I am now averaging speeds of 115 up and download speeds. Another issue I was having with old router was signal strength and speed upstairs. I now have a very strong 5ghz and 2ghz connection upstairs with speeds still in the mid 90mpbs as before could only get in the mid 60mpbs. The router was easy to set up using the instructions. I took a picture of bottom of router so I would have the information for login. From time I plugged in the router I had my laptop set up, new passwords and renamed the access points. This was one of the easiest installs I have ever done. After 2 weeks of use I have had no issues or connection problems. All test were done using no AC wifi cards through Unit comes with a reset switch, one gigabit WAN port, four gigabit LAN ports, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port and an On/Off switch. The package contents also includes an Ethernet cable, the router's 12V/5A external power supply. The instruction manual was easy to follow. Pros: Extremely quick speeds Easy to install Great range even through walls and upstairs Has 6 antennas to promote range and speed 3 channels of use 2 5ghz and one 2ghz
