TurboTax Premier 2021 (PC) - 12 Returns

I COMPLETED MY JOINT RETURNS . SAVED AS A PDF. TRIED TO NETFILE THE NEXT DAY BUT WAS UNABLE TO DO SO BECAUSE THE FILES WERE LOST APPARENTY USING THE PDF SAVE DOESN'T SAVE THE FILE BUT TURBO TAX DOESN'T TELL YOU THIS. NO WARNING BOX. EVERYTHING WAS LOST HAD TO REDO IT ALL. TRIED TO FIND OUT WHAT i COULD DO. BUT THE SUPPORT FROM TURBO TAX IS POOR AT BEST TOOK ALONG TIME JUST TO FIND A PHONE NUMBER WHEN I DID CALL THE HELPER ON THE OTHER LINE HAD AN ACCENT SO THICK THAT I COULD HARDLY UNDERSTAND THEM ... VERY..VERY FUSTRATING ALSO HELP LINE IS OPEN 9AM-6PM EST MONDAY TO FRIDAY THATS NOT LONG ENOUGH. I WORK LONGER THAN THOSE HOURS

Overall the product is helpful and an excellent way to keep track of tax information from year to year. However there are a few bugs and places in the product where it does not retain information - most notably in the wizard which will erase information and force you to re-enter it if you try to go back. (This happened for me in the rental income wizard, where it lost information the second time around even after I saved). Another place where it is incorrect is the foreign income summary form where the total shown in the UI does not take into account the exchange rate so it does not match the information which is eventually used for the form.

The product works quite well. However, there are some areas that have minimal explanations and need to be enhanced with real examples. Also, tin the past TurboTax allowed it to be installed on 3 computers but now it is only allowed to be installed on 2 computers. This should be changed to unlimited computers because the software is restricted to a fixed number of returns, therefore, this cold be monitored as the returns are filed; why should there be a restriction on the number of computers. Many people have various places they work from so that installing the software on multiple locations would make it easier on people. to use your product.

I've been using Intuit's Quick Tax & Turbo Tax products annually for over 10 years. Turbo Tax 2014 has become so easy to use that it almost makes me wonder if I've overlooked some something. Your new print & digital archiving window is a great improvement. Suggestions: 1. Provide an option to print/archive all forms for a user which have had data manually or automatically inserted. 2. Preserve manual form selections for husband until both archiving & printing is complete. ie. don't reset forms choices after each archive or print operation. Keep the selections for when he wants to archive/print his wife's tax submission or some other user.

TurboTax Premier was a waste of money since TurboTax Standard did what i needed. TurboTax easy step walk-through recommended using TurboTax Premier. I thought i would have see more savings, however my refund amount remains the same after the upgrade. Also, T1135 was not well implemented on TurboTax Premier. TurboTax does not allow you to add any addtional lines. The note on the T1135 form was to print off the T1135 and use a blank sheet to add the rest of the entry. Inuit knew about this issue for years and haven't fixed it. This is the last time I would purchase TurboTax Premier, however i may still purchase TurboTax Standard next year.
