Projector Wobbles

The TygerClaw PM6003BLK is a ceiling mount that is pretty straightforward to install. It will fit various projector models as it's designed with adjustable legs to cover different sizes and configurations. It also has vertical settings for raising or lowering the height level of the projector as well as featuring swivel and tilt. The Epson 8350 projector was used with this mount and I was just about able to position the four legs so that they line up correctly with the screw holes on the projector. Once mounted, I noticed that the projector did not feel steady on the mount. It never felt like it was going to fall off but it would wobble sideways when I attempted to press buttons or adjust the lens. It became more noticeable when watching something on the screen as any vibration on the floor above would cause the projector to wobble and hence the screen images would shake. There were no loose screws but it appears that the inner extension bar has excessive play and would cause the annoying shake to occur. This is very disappointing and I'm now looking for a different mount that will be sturdy enough.
