What's an "unlocked phone?"

Purchasing an unlocked handset gives you more handset options to choose from and more flexibility as to where you use it. Because an unlocked handset isn't tied to a particular service provider, it can be used with any service provider in the world that operates on a SIM card-based GSM network. Simply place an activated SIM card in the handset and you'll enjoy the same or similar service. Some premium features may not be available. SIM card sold separately. Speak with your current service provider for more details.

Not even close to worth it.

I have used non smart phone quite a bit and I can easily say this phone is just awful. You are better off going with just about anything else, Nokia screwed this one up.

Great little phone

I got this to use with Videotron. Works great! The FM radio is a nice bonus.

Really Bad Phone

This phone is glichey, useless even for texts and fails to connect to the internet. Its always updating sim or telling me to wait. Save your money....I don't think this will even do as a travel mobile.

Text Message Sent Timestamp issues

I bought this phone from the bestbuy store. I saw an issue that I have no idea how to fix. Basically when I send a text message, the time stamp is correct (PST) but the message I receive defaults to (EST). As you can see messages are sorted based on the time they were generated. So all the text messages I send are in the top and every text I received are sorted below because they automatically default to (EST). Example: I send myself a text message at 9AM, the message is received fairly quick, however the time stamp showing on the received text says 12:00PM.

great phone

only slightly different than my 6881. These are great little phones with nothing to break off.

The "Key Guard" function is effectively useless.

Since this is a candy bar style phone it is essential that there be a way to stop random key presses from causing problems unless you are planing to keep it on a table. This phone calls the function "Key Guard". Unfortunately, it keeps the display on when a key is held down so time spent in a pocket or purse will mean that the battery will be dead in a day or so. The key guard function specifically allows you to butt dial 911. The local 911 people have specifically asked us to disable any such function so this phone is not really usable in this part of the world. I ended up returning it. I am pretty sure that the original 3310 did not suffer from either of these problems. If you do a retro reboot of a classic phone you should at least ensure that the new phone is at least as good...

Great phone for what it is.

If you don't need a smartphone, this one is great for your needs. Battery life is incredible - have had it over a week and hasn't needed recharging yet. This is great to take camping.Only problem I found is the navigation needed to make a phone call (need at least three button presses), but that is due to the lock screen functionality. Sound quality is excellent for a phone in this price range. Many reviews exist already on the internet for this phone.
