Unlocked Nokia 3310 3G - Charcoal
- Would be awesome but there bugs
from Edmonton on January 22, 2020
Bought this phone in hopes of a smart phone detox. It was perfect! Unfortunately the one thing that I could not get over is that all of my incoming texts were 2 hours ahead of time. Tried changing time settings etc and was not able to fix. Called best buy and Telus and they could not troubleshoot. If it weren't for this one flaw and no wifi the phone would be perfect!
- Great choice for smartphone addicts!

I absolutely love this phone. It's very solidly built, has absolutely fantastic battery life, and call quality is crystal clear. Truly worthy of the Nokia brand. FM radio is a nice added bonus and works also very well. Of course, the integrated camera and speaker are terrible, but for an $80 unit it's expected, and not the reason to buy it in the first place. Highly recommended.
- Not even close to worth it.

I have used non smart phone quite a bit and I can easily say this phone is just awful. You are better off going with just about anything else, Nokia screwed this one up.
- Great little phone

I got this to use with Videotron. Works great! The FM radio is a nice bonus.
- Really Bad Phone

This phone is glichey, useless even for texts and fails to connect to the internet. Its always updating sim or telling me to wait. Save your money....I don't think this will even do as a travel mobile.
- Good phone as second

- Text Message Sent Timestamp issues
from Vancouver, BC on October 5, 2018
I bought this phone from the bestbuy store. I saw an issue that I have no idea how to fix. Basically when I send a text message, the time stamp is correct (PST) but the message I receive defaults to (EST). As you can see messages are sorted based on the time they were generated. So all the text messages I send are in the top and every text I received are sorted below because they automatically default to (EST). Example: I send myself a text message at 9AM, the message is received fairly quick, however the time stamp showing on the received text says 12:00PM.
- great phone

only slightly different than my 6881. These are great little phones with nothing to break off.
- The "Key Guard" function is effectively useless.
from Winnipeg, MB on July 19, 2018
Since this is a candy bar style phone it is essential that there be a way to stop random key presses from causing problems unless you are planing to keep it on a table. This phone calls the function "Key Guard". Unfortunately, it keeps the display on when a key is held down so time spent in a pocket or purse will mean that the battery will be dead in a day or so. The key guard function specifically allows you to butt dial 911. The local 911 people have specifically asked us to disable any such function so this phone is not really usable in this part of the world. I ended up returning it. I am pretty sure that the original 3310 did not suffer from either of these problems. If you do a retro reboot of a classic phone you should at least ensure that the new phone is at least as good...
