I'll start by saying this was definitely one of the more expensive purchases I've ever made of furniture without having an opportunity to sit in it. For this reason I was very nervous as I did not know exactly what to expect! If you were skeptical like me this review is intended for you. However, after having this couch for the last few weeks, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The features on it are great, and it is very, very comfortable. The leather and construction definitely does evoke that premium feel the product name describes. My family always had high end Italian leather couches and this does remind me of that, with the added bonus of TECH FEATURES! There are three adjustments total, including recline, lumbar-area, and headrest. The recline setting is fairly obvious so I will just mention that we like to eat dinner while watching TV, and I've found that there are numerous places you can adjust the recline to so that you aren't "laying down" (which makes digestion harder) but are still comfortable. On the lumbar-area adjustment, it's kind of interesting because it can "puff out" extremely far and, while a bit awkward, I actually like to use it with this fully out for short periods to just give my spine a different position to be in. The head-rest curls downward which, the first time you do it you might find a bit strange, but essentially allows you to use the top cushion as a very firm and present neck pillow without having to press your head back too far - it's actually fantastic. I've found myself using a range of positions of the headrest depending on how far back I'm reclined. I like the hideaway plug on the centre console. The USB ports are great, but any Apple product users will probably agree that Apple products tend to be fussy about where they are getting their charge from, so it's great to have some real plugs available there too. My favorite use for this so far has been to have a way to charge my PS5 controller while using it, without the fight of running a long charging cable from the floor or down the back of the couch (as with our previous couch). In terms of downside, the only missed opportunity from our perspective with this couch is the lack of some sort of memory button(s). It would be great to find the 'sweet spot' and then not have to manually memorize exactly how to get there. Not a showstopper though. Also, for anyone wondering whether this couch is ideal for laying across (rather than reclining in a seat) we have found it is not as comfortable for that, but that is hardly an issue. The in-house delivery was also great. They assembled the unit and tested the functionality before leaving. They were able to bypass the need for a delivery signature due to COVID-19 by taking a photo of the couch in our house, and I liked that they double checked with me that I would be OK with that beforehand. All in all, you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to getting many comfortable years out of this couch.
