- Fits 5300 with the cup adapterVerified BuyerReviewed by Marlisa - 17 juillet 2020
I bought this cups alone without the blade just to try in my cup adapter. I read alot in the reviews in lots of websites that my Vitamix model 5300 don't support this ascent bowls but i bought only the bowls without the blade base kit just to try in this cup adapter and "YES" it fit and screw perfect. I just used to try making homemade mexican salsa and works perfect without leaking. The material of this bowls are pretty good, they're going to last a lot and the 2 bowls comes with their lids so you can refrigerate them for next day use. The size, they're small like a cup so don't expect a bigger one but they're gonna be great helper in the kitchen for small batches of everything that you need. Baby food, mix yogurt with fruits and nuts for a fast healthy breakfast or snack, ground spices to create your own seasonings or nuts, salsas, make garlic creamed butter for steaks or garlic bread.... lots of stuff. If you have this cup adapter that fit Vitamix C and G series, this bowls are going to fit well but only the bowls no the kit that comes with the blade that one is gonna be useless if you don't have a Vitamix Ascent. I'm adding pictures and a picture of the cup adapter box with the models that can be use it.

- The Trick To Using Them - On Base Then TurnVerified BuyerReviewed by AlexandriaWill - 11 novembre 2021
There is a trick to this but it's good. The key for this is to put the items in the bowl, then secure it on and place on base. Once you place it on the base you might notice, the numbers don't light up. Twist the bowl (clear part) to make it tighter as it's on the base. You will then see the numbers light up. This was the kicker and issue for me. These are cool to use if you follow what I said. I realized it's not what I would have thought it would be but i like it a lot. I wanted this mostly to use for almond butter but instead I use it to store almond butter i make in the other jar. The second one I use a lot to make guac and things like that. It's handy.

- Finally nut butters and emulsions aren't annoyingReviewed by Lakonia - 7 janvier 2020
When I first got my Vitamix with the 64 oz container, I made various nut butters a few times and while they aren't hard to make, getting them out was the worst and it felt so much was wasted under the blades. I got the bowls (and the under-blade scraper) so it finally feels like making fresh nut butter is no long more trouble than it's worth. The self-detect can be a bit of a bother. I have had ok luck in lining up the arrows on the cup and the base before threading and try to end with the arrows lined up after threading the base on. Sometimes, if I fail a couple of times, I have to unplug the blender base before it will read ANY container. I am using these with the V1200.

- UsefulReviewed by Erin Burns - 29 juillet 2019
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I adore these little cups. The longer I have them the more useful I find them. But there biggest winners for me are coffee grinding (yes, I know coffee purists will find that abominable, but it works fine for me), salad dressings, spreads, and the biggest wonder-scrambled eggs/omelets. 2 tablespoons of salted butter, 3 large eggs, salt/pepper/garlic powder to taste, splash of heavy cream or half and half, and a quick whir in there blender and I've got perfect incorporated egg batter ready for coming. Personally I prefer sous vide for the cook but it's great no matter how you do it.
