WD Black SN850 WDS200T1X0E 2 TB Solid State Drive - M.2 2280 Internal - PCI Express NVMe (PCI Express 4.0 x4) WDS200T1X0E

I bought this drive expecting the best that money could buy, and instead I have returned the first one and invested many hours of frustrated attempts to get the 2nd drive working to no avail. First of all, the western digital dashboard tool presents almost ZERO information and provides no utility for the drive AT ALL. Secondly, the drive is recognized, boot manager recognized, but will not boot to windows when cloned from my old SSD. I swapped it out for the competing Sabrient pcie4.0 2TB drive and everything is working fine FIRST TRY, to my surprise. There is NO WAY to modify the sector size within the WD dashboard management app, and ZERO documentation showing what the default sector size is. TERRIBLE COMPANY overcharging for TERRIBLE DRIVE DO NOT BUY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!

While was on BETA release, I ordered for my PS5 (Disc version) after hearing from a friend on a PS5 (Digital Version) and the loading speeds and quick load of PS5 games are much quicker even more so than PS5 Internal SSD. I do recommend order one with Heatsink if can. If you can't, their are some great 3rd party heatsink as recommend for temp cooling while playing on console. The installation and format was easy and fast.

I had installed the Nvme ssd in my Alienware M17 R3. It really isn't that hard to install but, the hardest part was to insert it in the slot, go slowly. Then you need to initialise it for the first time and it's ready to go. You can also download an app called, WD SDD "dashboard" to see more details about your Nvme ssd.

I was charged twice for this product on PayPal. I tried going through the Contact Us page for resolution. Next I will be going through PayPal. Once this gets worked out I might leave a proper review.

Perfect for PS5 expansion! Buy it with the heat sink or get your own. I got a separate heat sink. Very easy to install and instantly recognized by PS5. Fast! Just buy it!
