- Great for the price.Reviewed by Shaun - November 17, 2013
Installation was fairly simple. Cutting the holes was very easy to do with the tools provided. Though, do no press very hard when cutting the holes, otherwise the tool will slip. Go slow, and it will cut perfectly. (Did not use any power tools). The wire fish that came with it worked as intended, though fishing can be a bit tricky (of course that has nothing to do with the quality of the product). I give it only 4 stars because the grommets have dry wall locks to hold them in place, which were close to useless. The grommets will not fall out of the wall, but they are loosely secure. For the most part, this doesn't matter as the grommets are usually hidden from sight. Worked for me, and you can't beat the price.

Report - Great price for a basic installVerified BuyerReviewed by Meglow000 - July 8, 2013
Installed a flat panel in my step daughters room and bought other products to hide the cords. In the end, this kit comes with everything you would need to install and hide the cables in a basic flat panel install. All the cables are in the wall and they give you the plastic fish wand to get the wires from the top to the bottom or bottom to top. Also provide the hole bit to install the inwall boxes and a t handle to use or you can use a drill if you own one (much quicker). At this point, I can find nothing major wrong with the kit. You can't buy all the accessories for less than $50 and the kit is $25.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. - Nice way to hide hole in wall/ceiling for cablesReviewed by Nerfburger - August 18, 2011
Liked the fact it had a hole saw to cut hole to exact size for grommets, but screws that tighten the tabs to hold grommets in place are too big and will break the tabs off if you try to force them... luckily I had some screws that were smaller and easier to thread through the tabs to hold them in place, or I would have had to remove the tabs and glue the grommets to the ceiling. The fishing tape is handy, but I barely had to use it, so I can't give an accurate review on it. I would recommend this kit to anyone needing a quick solution for running cables through the wall or ceiling.

This item is a pretty good price compared to a lot out there on the market and not only that.... Quality is great and so easy to install. Looks like your wall was built for cables behind wall professionally done. Took me no more the 3 min to install. Love the way it looks !!!

It's nice that this comes with a large bit required to drill sheetrock. However, the locking mechanism on the back of the wall plate doesn't work well. I had to improvise to get the wall plate to sit flush with the wall. And the pole provided to fish the lines behind the wall is hardly useful. I had to get MacGyver on that as well and it took almost an hour to fish everything through the insulation. Overall, it probably does what you want it to. The job is just difficult if you're adding a feature like this to an existing wall that does not have a chase pipe.
