[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally had a Belle because I didn't want to spend a lot on a toaster. However, it didn't make the toast how I liked it. I ended up not using it as much and selling it. My husband convinced me to get toaster. I love the "a bit more" setting. I have made bagels and toast in the Breville. I love it. It also looks nice in my counter top. I am not a fan of the counter top accessories. However, I use this so often. It only makes sense to give it a permanent home on the counter. I've had this item a little over a month and use it almost daily. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed! With the name brand Breville, and for $100, you should have excellent, even color toasting! As you can see in the pictures, the elements are not evenly heated, and there is a wide gap in the middle of the elements, all causing uneven toasting and burnt edges. The plug is large and sticks out. I will be returning this toaster and continue my quest in finding, what should be a simple appliance, that does the job like it should!

The toast does not come out even or consistent.

After use you will see, one side of the toaster gets extremely hot (burning toast quickly). Using Bagel button is where it is noticeably hot. I purchased 2021-May-24, (started 2023-June) so it is outside warranty based on manual. Not good when I have had much less expensive last years only to change them for looks/style. I have Breville four waffle mind you that works well so, I was shifting to Breville for other appliiances but now second guessing

Bought this brand new last week, plugged it in to realized it take 2 full cycles to get a brownish toast and half the element aren't even lid ( no it is not on bagel mode, and no the bread was not frozen. ). I was expecting more for a toaster selling on the expensive side of the thing. In my opinion a premium price tag should come with a premium build ( elements, welds, material and internal parts ) , not some fancy useless option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3.5 Stars would be my choice because the heating coils do not cover the entire length of the slots; there is a solid divider between each side, making long pieces toasted on each end, not the center. Toasting similar to a four slice toaster, but with long slot instead of four slots. Not exactly what I had in mind, but it works... except for that one strip in the center that won't be toasted on long slices!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching many different models out there, it became obvious that Breville was the way to go. This is a very consistent machine that never fails to turn out the correct cooking amount desired. We very rarely get a toaster that actually cooks the RIGHT amount without having to constantly check on it. You won't be disappointed if you buy this toaster!

I thought I was getting a high quality toaster I could use for our homemade loaves, but we could not find a setting that would make it toast properly. All through the range, the bread would be warm but not toasted. When we got to the highest settings, the bread would come out either burned, or burned at the top and not toasted for the rest. I very rarely return purchases, but had to return this. Most expensive useless toaster I have ever seen. I gave Breville a second chance and bought a Die-cast Smart Toaster (2 long slices), and that one works very well. @Breville, I think you should consider retiring this model. It is a reputation killer.

Only couple months old and the lever to control toast cooking time has broken off, was only adjusting it down
