The convenience of the quick connect feature is a plus, making it easy to replace and use. The 60L capacity provides a decent amount of carbonation, suitable for occasional use. However, I found the cost of the cylinder to be a bit on the higher side compared to other alternatives. Additionally, the availability of the refills in some areas can be limited, which can be inconvenient. Also, I run through these canisters pretty quickly. While the quick connect cylinder is a convenient option for making sparkling water at home, I wish the pricing and availability were more competitive to make it a better value overall.

I received the new “quick connect” cylinders and they won’t fit in my Sodastream unit. I need the ones that screw into place. Why would Sodastream send out product that does not work in all units?

The exchange program is easy and very efficient and I appreciate recycling the heavy cylinders. My only complaint is they started to limit the number of cylinders you can order at a time to 2 last spring/ summer. So if I want to order 4 cylinders you have to place two orders and pay double the shipping costs. It's starting to become too expensive and I'm considering switching over to LaCroix which is cheaper when you factor in the doubling of shipping costs. Please allow us to order 4 at a time please! Other than that your system is perfect. You make it so easy to send the cylinders back with the pre-made shipping labels and box, well done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my steam soda machine quite a bit and this co2 bottle makes it very easy to make soda water. Never had any issue with this product.

My mother introduced me to soda stream around 10 years ago. She sensed passed away and I have been using your product for ten years now. She was using it before soda water became all the rage. And I just got my sister one for her birthday this past May and she loves hers so we are keeping the tradition going with the products. I’ve also introduced my son to it and he is now hooked to carbonated water. This is a fabulous product. It’s healthy on its own you can add infused fruits or you can buy the syrups if you’d like to make your own mock tales or no calorie and low-calorie beverages to your specific taste. What can be better than that?

I ordered quick connect, I received the wrong type.

I received the SodaStream Terra for Xmas. Very easy to use out of the box especially with the Quick Connect Cylinder. Makes great sparkling water and sodas. I particularly like the Dr. Pete diet. Wish they made one with stevia instead of sucralose but it's still a much better option than aspartame. Also, I'd take out the acesulfame potassium (another sweetener) from the Diet Cola and either sweeten with stevia or just use tueh sucralose that's already in it. In either case, this is still a great alternative to the diet sodas out there. I like that you can adjust to your desired level of carbonation. Really nice gift!

Southern Calif just went through a record setting heat wave, over 100 degrees INDOORS unless one had a/c, and was lucky enough to not be hit with a rolling blackout due to electrical grid failure. We exhausted an entire cylinder and half of a 2nd, staying hydrated. Sodastream saved my life. I am disabled, but live on the 4th floor of a complex without an elevator, so I couldn't go out to carry up cases of bottled water, not that there was any left on the shelves in the stores anyway. But with 10 flavors in the house, and two water filters in the fridge, over the past 3 days we went through 100 water bottles-worth staying hydrated.

I’ve probably changed carbonating cylinders over 50x over the years but this particular cylinder stood out above the crowd with its extra effervescence and “can do” spirit. I named it Sarah Jane after a cheerleader in high school who made everyone believe in and strive for their better self, such was her dynamism and social awareness. Every bottle of water she (the cylinder not the cheerleader) came in contact with was equally uplifted and astonishingly transformed. They say only the good die young and she lasted only a fraction of the time new cylinders did a year ago but she will be fondly remembered for all the good memories.
