What kinds of ebikes does Aventon offer?

Aventon city ebikes, also known as comfort or cruiser bikes, are ideal for casual, recreational riding in cities and on trails. These usually employ a step-through frame for easy mounting and dismounting. But Aventon also offers ebikes with a step-over frame, which are best for more difficult terrain, are often more lightweight, and can go faster.

Available under brand names Sinch, Soltera, and Pace, in colours like green, red, grey, white, black, and citrine, and in medium or large sizes to accommodate different heights, each Aventon ebike has unique features and functions to appeal to different types of riders.

They each include pedal-assist, with partial assistance thanks to a motor that kicks in once you start pedaling. Many also include throttle assist as well whereby the bike's motor takes over so you can truly cruise when needed without moving your legs, allowing for a totally effortless ride.

How do Aventon ebikes compare to others?

Most ebikes, including those from Aventon, adhere to the maximum allowed output of 500 watts through a rear hub motor and a maximum speed (in most Canadian provinces) of 32 km/hr.

Enhancing the riding experience, Aventon ebikes have a backlit colour LCD for checking speed, pedal assist, battery level, and distance, and they even work with the Aventon mobile app for sharing your ride with family and friends for safety purposes, or with other riders who are joining you. Some models even have a concealed USB port for charging your phone.

With five pedal-assist levels, use as much or as little added power as desired. An aggressive frame geometry in some of the ebikes is designed to enhance agility and control even further. The swept-back cruiser-style handlebars in some models, meanwhile, have an adjustable stem so you can raise or lower them for the perfect height. Many are foldable, too!

Where and when might you use an Aventon ebike?

Aventon ebikes are useful for long journeys when you might otherwise get tired or on routes with steep hills that are otherwise challenging to scale, and an extra boost of power is helpful. They are also great for running city errands, helping you do more in less time.
