✅ Thru-flow Blower Motors are NOT suitable for Central Vacuum Application due to lack of reliability, absence of Cooling Fan, the motor section is not separated from vacuumed (dusty and dirty) air, all electrical parts are also exposed to this “dirty” air and for lack of serviceability. Carbon Brushes are either not easy or possible to replace. They also tend to turn at much higher RPM significantly shortening service life. Thru-flow motors are predominantly used for portable vacuums.
