[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this range for a year now and it has been put through the test. My wife bakes a lot and I broil a lot. Our previous range was an Amana similar model that we were very satisfied with for 10 years. And after having the new range for a year we have some pros and some cons. On the con side: *The lettering on the control knobs is hard to read. White letters on a stainless steel like finish makes the lettering invisible. *Oven has hot spots depending on rack location. When baking it's a trial and error situation to determine the best rack position. *Does not broil well. It appears the broiler element does not generate sufficient heat to broil rapidly even with the rack at top position. Preheat for at least 15 minutes before beginning broil and don't block oven vents behind the two rear burners on the cook-top. Pros: *Large cast iron cookware grates. *Recessed accessory-drawer grab slot. Minimizes fingerprints on front of drawer. *Large accessory drawer. *Self-cleaning feature works very well. After about 6 months of heavy use all that was left was some ash which wiped up easily and the interior was bright and shiny again. All in all this range is a quality product. The few cons are easily dealt with without inconvenience. We consider this model superior in quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been searching for a new stove for years could not find the perfect one. Every big box store or appliance all had the same brands, styles features etc. Then one day i visited Menards for first time and for fun walked to check out appliances. So glad i did cause there was my stove, four burners, space on top between for spoon rest and the main feature I wanted was a storage drawer at the bottom, most all the others had their broiler down there. Why would i want to get on my hands and knees to use my broiler ? Has cast iron grates for when I do canning . Bought it immediately am so glad I did I use it all the time. Thank you Amana.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with the purchase of my Amana range. The oven is very roomy, and I especially like the dual-size burners. My only frustration is keeping the look of “smudge marks” off from black surface! This is my first experience with a black range and all attempts (including online recommendations) and various cleaning products and cleaning cloths do very little, if anything, to eliminate the look of smudge/grease looking swirls on the top and burner surfaces. If I would have known that this was going to be an issue, I certainly would have opted for a different color. Any cleaning recommendations would be appreciated!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to find a white gas range with the smaller grates. I'm a senior lady and those full coverage grates are too much for me to handle. Also love the broiler in the oven. that's VERY important to me. Like that the oven light comes on automatically when the door is opened. Wish it had a light fixture on the instrument panel like all of my other stoves. Kinda wonder why the oven pops so much when in use. Never had that with all my other gas stoves. All in all, I would highly recommend. Great stove and I got it at a great price. Also...it came with the conversion kit to LP. Happy, Happy, Happy!!

I am still learning how to use the different options that are available on this oven. However, everything that I have tried to use so far, has performed perfectly. I am even happy with the stove top because it is able to handle large heavy pans without marking th surface. I have also baked very successfully in both ovens. I am looking forward to having both ovens for the holidays. In the past, I have had to juggle food around because everything could not cook at the same temperature. Now, I will be able to use two different temperatures with no problem. Plus, nothing will have to be baked the night before.

I've had the oven for about 4 months now, cook every day, and have used the double oven feature ~6 times already. Most things can go into the top oven without using the energy required of a traditional single oven. The top oven rack is nearly flush with the door when open, making it a little easier for my husband to burn himself. The bottom oven door opens almost to the level of the floor. It is somewhat awkward and I can use it with ease, but someone with mobility issues might have a harder time. The warming plate is a nice convenience. It is a gorgeous appliance! I got it in stainless and black cooktop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this stove a little over a month, and are generally happy with it. We did have electric and switched to gas- and we appreciate things like the adjustability of the burners etc. I do wonder why my burners “woof” on so big at ignition- especially the front ones- though my husband isn’t as concerned. One problem we’ve had, though, is that the back right burner is so low that you can’t see the flame, and with no indicator lite, it isn’t obvious if accidentally left on!!! We really miss indicator lights. And the front knobs are perhaps a little too easy to bump on- that has happened once so far.,,

The lower door has openings to allow to air to escape. Unfortunately, this also allows spills to enter between the glass panes on the door. After three months the door looks filthy. I contacted Whirlpool regarding how to clean this and I was advised that I needed to have a service tech come out to clean my door. It is considered a "cosmetic" problem and is not covered under warranty. There is no way to avoid normal spills when using the oven. While I do like the double oven feature, it's not worth it to have my oven looking like I haven't wiped the door down, even though it was just cleaned. I was very excited when I purchased this very expensive oven and I'm sorry I wasted my money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my old range for 20 years replaced thermostats and finally igniters were starting to go, decided it was time for a new one. Picked this one, out I'm so glad I did I love the features and haven't used the clean oven cycle cycle yet. The push button for the oven was a little hard to get used to, but boy is it nice. Also love the fact it notifies you when your oven comes to temp.
