Great monitor for the price!!!
- January 21, 2021One of the best bang for your buck monitors out there! I honestly didn't expect to get this nice of a monitor for this price. I have owned it for about a month now and every time I sit down at my desk I thank myself for upgrading. I figured I would end up with at least 1 dead pixel and being an IPS panel I also expected a decent amount of backlight bleed but yet again, Asus has exceeded my expectations with ZERO dead pixels and very minimal backlight bleed :) I love the little opening in the stand, I usually hook my mouse cable to the back of the monitor but every once in a while it would catch on the back of my desk. If I route my mouse cable through the base and out of the front of the monitor it keeps the cable away from the back of my desk. Stop reading reviews and just buy it already! 1440p, IPS, 1ms, 165hz, G-Sync + ELMB at the same time, great color accuracy, and an extremely easy to use UI. What else could you ask for at this price range? Asus nailed it with this one!

Couldn't ask for a better monitor!
- January 16, 2021I have been using this monitor for almost a year now and haven't had a single issue. For context I have gone through 6 monitors and non of them were Asus. Every monitor I bought before cheep or expensive had issues that made them unusable. I was hesitant at first to buy the VG27AQ because of some bad reviews but after only buying monitors with better reviews and recommendations I decide to try it out and it was perfect. I use my computer for a lot of different things including video/photo editing, gaming, cad, YouTube and this monitor can do it all. Having 1440p was perfect for 27 inches and 165hz instead of 240hz was perfect since my computer couldn't maintain 240hz at 1440p on pervious monitors. I don't know why I was so skeptical of Asus when choosing my monitor, given that the first computer I built comprised of all Asus parts excluding the ssd and chassis. I feel like they get bad credit especially in reviews but I think it's just because they have so many products and the demand is so high. The best thing about this monitor is that it put my full confidence in Asus and I am planning on buying an Asus laptop with the same screen spec to pair up with my AMAZING monitor! Thank you Asus, you have made your place in my heart. P.S. If anyone was wondering what laptop I am referring to it's the new ROG Zephyrus G15 Ultra Slim rtx3080 and specifically moonlight white because OMG it looks so good!

Amazing 1st Gaming Monitor
- June 6, 2024This is the first gaming monitor that I've ever owed and it's absolutely amazing. It's really big, has an amazing display, it can be raised and tilted so you're always comfortable using it in any position. It's a great wide screen resolution, 2K graphics look great, and it still looks amazing with DLSS 3 upscaling technology. I bought one for me and my boyfriend at the same time and we both love it so much. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I use my gaming laptop to hook up to it with a Thunderbolt 4 cable and it plugs and plays so easily. I could go on and on about how much I love this gaming monitor but I'll stop. It's amazing, A++ would recommend and buy again.

Everything I Was Looking For!
- March 21, 2020Just got this monitor earlier today, and so far everything is working great. First off, although this monitor is from Asus's supposedly-budget 'TUF' line, the build quality definitely makes it feel like a premium product. The panel is large, bright and clear (with its 1440p resolution). As an added bonus the refresh rate is actually better than in the listing. The monitor can factory overclock to 165 Hertz easily. If I had one criticism, I wish it had a USB hub like on my previous monitor, but I guess that's just one of the corners they had to cut the price this monitor fairly. Overall I'm very pleased with this product and I would definitely recommend it.

A figurative ton of options
- December 11, 2020I replaced my five-year-old Asus 28-inch VA panel with this 27-inch IPS. Going from 60 to 144 refresh rate, and HD to WQHD is rather impressive. And then there are all the screen setting options, maybe too many compared to my old screen. I will be doing more experimenting. I decided to replace the somewhat unimpressive, flimsy stand of this newer monitor with the sturdier stand from the older; four screws and it was done. A perfect fit. The newer monitor's stand looks outdated and cheap and did not place the monitor high enough for my liking. After a few days it works very well. I hope it stays that way. Asus screens rock.

defective pixels
- April 27, 2020As an unlucky customer, I found more than 4 defective pixels on my panel. You must check your panel since you receive it.

Incredible
- May 29, 2020I was on the fence between this and 1080p at first, but after receiving it, i'll never go back to 1080p. This thing is amazing and the images it produce are so crisp and the colors are so good. (Build is ryzen 3700x, rtx 2070 super) running Warzone between 85 and 100 fps everything maxed out, with g-sync there is 0 frame drop.
