Excellent product at an amazing price
- April 23, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a simple straightforward landline phone. It runs on batteries for its LED display, (I am using rechargables -- check out Eneloop batteries) so you don't have to plug it in. It has a nifty way to convert to a wall phone, which is how we are using it. It has three very quick dial memories, and many more speed dial memories. It has volume control on the ringer and the receiver. The sound is good, but you can hear a little hiss if you crank up the receiver volume to the max. It has caller ID, but it does not show when we have voice mail, which is its only real drawback for us. Generally, it is an excellent phone at a good price.

Good price
- October 4, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only needed a basic phone for my kitchen, so I wasn't looking for anything fancy. I just needed a wall-mounted phone with caller id. I saw where some reviewers were frustrated because it didn't work as a wall-mounted phone. I read on a different site where you really have to read the manual, and so I did. The manual tells you how to make the necessary adjustments to the phone, which are very easy to do. Once you make those adjustments, which do not require any additional tools, your phone works fine as a wall-mounted device. The handset does not fall off. I also replaced the short corded line with a longer one which I had on my old phone, so this works well for me.

Average phone.
- August 3, 2012[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this phone set up as a landline, sharing the line with a DSL internet connection. I agree with previous reviewers that the phone has a definite hiss to it, but we found that swapping out the flat cable that comes with it (the one that plugs into the wall jack) mostly fixed the issue. We also double-filtered the line and now the hiss is barely noticeable. Also, addressing previous reviews that mention the difficulty in wall-mounting - PLEASE read the instruction manual. There is a small piece that has to be flipped around to keep the receiver in place, and the reviewers who complained likely didn't do that.

DOES THE JOB
- November 7, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a landline corded phone for a second line into the house and since there are not a lot of options out there these days I purchased this one from the store. It does the job it needs to do. I like that the caller ID is on the backside which shows when it's in the cradle (my old "princess" phone had no idea from caller ID, haha). It's a necessity to have this type of phone when there is an extended power outage, as I have learned the hard way over the past few years. I think the caller ID features may not work when the power is out but the phone connection should be good (I hope).

Nothing special about it, but it is a phone
- September 16, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a cheap phone that could be plugged into a phone jack and that is exactly what this is. There are no bells and whistles, though it does have caller ID if you install batteries. Other than that, it is just a phone. The length between the base and the handset is a little short for my comfort. And the connection to the wall jack is permanently attached to the base, which saves you from needing a separate cord (good) but removes some flexibility if you need something longer that you already have on hand. All in all, it was worth the money for what I needed for a short period.

Great for backup if you lose electric
- July 4, 2014[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone should check online for what they are interested in before going to the store, It's $12.99 online. In the store, the price said $16.99. Bring any price differences in price to the attention of an employee in that area. They will check and give you the lower price. Phone was a snap to put together. I got it in case I lose electric. Also got it because the cordless phone I have starts to beep only after talking for 15 minutes, letting me know it soon will stop. This, despite the fact it's in the recharge state when not in use. which is most of the time. You have to have caller ID from your phone service provider for it to display incoming call numbers. I don't need that service, so it doesn't bother me.

Old School Phone
- August 16, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live on an island that can easily be cut off from the world by weather. We wanted a landline phone, and this model was affordable. It's a sleek design for a corded phone. Works well & could be a lifesaver someday.

Not wall mountable as designed and stated
- April 18, 2012[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this corded phone to replace another corded phone because they are the only ones that work when the power goes out. Specs stated wall mountable and it comes with a bracket that reverses to make it wall mountable. There is only one way to install the bracket and I followed the directions, however when mounted the handset will not stay in the cradle and falls off. This cradle is defectively designed for wall mounting. Can't rate on any other features as it failed to deliver on this one. I'm returning it. I tried contacting AT&T support, but they did not respond.

Old fashioned reliable
- May 7, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple but effective, works as intended. A rarity in today’s modern phone world, yet a solution for certain people who still relay on foolproof communication.
