    PLEASE DO NOT BUY

    Reviewed by - November 27, 2021

My lo is 3 weeks old when I started to use it and noticed he was getting hungry every 2 hours on the dot when he would usually go every 3 hours. I thought it was a growth spurt but after day 4 something just didn’t seem right and I decided to formulate by hand starting at night for all his night feedings and notice he was back at waking up every 3 hours for a feeding instead of 2. The next morning I did a test to catch the formula with a bag and noticed after 3 attempts it was only giving me a half of a scoop. I’m absolutely livid. Please do me a favor and do not buy this machine or at least test it out once every couple days to see if you’re getting the proper mix

    ANTS! It isn’t ant proof

    Reviewed by - November 20, 2024

I loved this machine for months! Made our lives so easy until the ants came. They got in the water tank and into the formula from both top and bottom. I stopped using the machine, cleaned everything out and waited a few days for the ants to clear up before using it again. Sure enough, as soon as I put it all together again the ants came back. I’m so grossed out and bummed. We won’t be using this machine any longer.

    FALLING APART!!!!!

    Reviewed by - December 5, 2021

I received this babybreeza formula maker and thought it was the best thing! I have been using it for the last five months and have had nothing but drama with it!! First the temperature button would not heat the water up until about 2 months ago it began heating up by itself. Next the formula and water together clogs the spout every four bottles so you have to clean the spout and the tray that holds the powered formula. Last but not least the machine has been sitting on the counter since it came out the box it has not been dropped nor has anything fell on it, the sides are disconnecting causing a bulge in the back side and on top. VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS EXPENSIVE PRODUCT!! Would like to know how to contact the manufacturer so the person that got me this as a gift can be refunded or replace my falling apart breeze with a new and improved one!

    It's not what I expected

When I bought it I was delighted with it, my baby drank 2 ounces and it was warm, but now that he takes 5 ounces, the milk does not dissolve well, not all the powder comes out, it stays stuck, after each feeding I have to remove everything and clean it, Also for the part that comes out the milk and water, everything stays stuck .... thanks :(

    Game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our baby takes formula more often than breast milk. Before I found this machine, making bottles at night and early morning was tough and messy, adding to the stress that if your baby is screaming. Since we got this Baby Brezza Formula Mixer, we use it to make every bottle. It can make a bottle right away... Yes, I mean literally formula milk will come out immediately by just clicking the "Start" button. You can adjust the temp, ounces and formula setting, right in the dashboard. Just make sure that you assemble the formula container correctly based on the manual. If you don't, the machine may not work properly. And even though you do need to clean the funnel every 4 bottles made, it's not a big deal at all and makes great sense since the funnel is a place to hold mixed formula before it comes out. Funnel is easy to wash just by hands and easy to put back on when it's dried. The formula container is recommended to be cleaned every week and cleaning is also easy. Strongly recommend for parents who have bottle-taking babies.

Baby is malnourished because of this machine

    Reviewed by - August 5, 2022

So the concept of the baby brezza formula pro is great! I loved the idea and convenience. However, please read my story — I breastfed my newborn for a few weeks but couldn’t bare the scabbed nipples and clogged milk ducts from breastfeeding or pumping. I decided to switch to feeding my baby formula and the brezza was gifted to me from my registry. I consulted with my baby’s pediatrician, and she said it was ok to switch to formula (I did not mention the brezza to my doctor at this time, I only asked if it was safe to switch to formula and she said yes). I read the directions and watched YouTube videos to ensure I was understanding how to use the brezza correctly. I feed my baby Enfamil NeuroPro Gentlease and saw on the baby brezza website that the powder setting is 6. I ensured my brezza was on the correct powder setting and created my first bottle. It looked a little watery, but with this being my first baby, I didn’t know any different. He scarfed down 2 oz within 10 mins and was still showing hunger cues. Overtime, we started making more ounces of formula because my newborn continued to show signs of hunger and would cry for more. He was constantly hungry. It got to the point where we were feeding my baby 7 oz every 2-3 hours at 3 weeks old, not realizing that’s how much a 4 month old eats. My baby was constantly hungry and peeing through his diapers every 20 minutes. At my baby’s checkup a few weeks later, I mentioned to the pediatrician that he’s drinking 7 oz and still showing hunger cues… she nearly fell out of her chair in shock, as a baby’s stomach at that age isn’t big enough to hold 7 oz of formula every 2 hours. She asked how it’s possible he’s eating that much and said he should only be eating 2-3 oz at his age. We mentioned we’ve been using the brezza and she told us to stop using it immediately. She said she tells ALL of her patients to stop using the brezza due to concerns of the accuracy of the formula consistency. For his next feeding, I manually mixed the recommended amount of formula listed on the Enfamil canister, and it was much more thicker in the bottle (it seemed a lot less watery). I saw on the brezza website that you can check to see if the brezza is dispensing the formula accurately by catching the formula in a baggy and then weighing it on a scale. Then, you weigh the correct amount of scoops and compare the weight. Right now, my baby is drinking 4 oz of water mixed with 2 scoops of formula (which is the recommended amount on the Enfamil packaging, and that’s what the pediatrician recommended, as well). So I weighed 2 scoops of formula on a scale, which was 17 grams. I then set the water amount to 4 oz on the brezza (with powder setting 6) and caught the amount of formula that was dispensed with a baggie. I weighed the formula from the brezza on a scale, and it was only 4 grams (compared to the recommended amount of 17 grams). That’s only 23% of how much my baby should have been getting for 4 oz of water! My pediatrician said this is an issue because my baby hadn’t been getting the needed nutrients for neurological development and organ maturation. He was basically just drinking water every day, all day… this is why he was continuously hungry and trying to eat more and more! He wasn’t getting full meals throughout the day! I’m concerned about my baby’s mental and physical development due to the lack of nutrients he had been getting for weeks. I trusted this product because they ensured accuracy checks on their website. My mother-in-law has a baby brezza at her house, and hers isn’t dispensing the correct amount of formula either… the bottles are very watery, as well. I’ve seen concerns by others who are claiming to experience the same issue. A baby’s development is very important, so I’m not taking this issue lightly. Please please please check and make sure your machine is dispensing the correct amount of formula when you receive this product, if you do decide to get it.

    Avoid. Does not measure correctly

    Reviewed by - January 23, 2022

Buyer beware! Over priced and does not work on even the most basic level. From the first use large amounts of the powdered formula would just stick to the funnel wall never making it into bottle, making it water downed and unsafe to drink! I thought well....... at least I can use the "water only" function for perfectly measured warm water in the middle of the night and just add the fomuma by hand, BUT not even that worked, resulting in water levels 1/2 to 1 oz less then what was selected. What a let down.

    Stick with the bottle warmer...

    Reviewed by - July 3, 2019

I was so eager and filled with anticipation as I awaited the arrival of our Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced and after our first use, the wind left our sails :( This is proving to be just a very expensive way to make bottles. The greatest disappointment is the temperature setting. It claims that there are three varieties but no matter which setting I select it seems to come out the same - lukewarm- even the “above body temperature” setting. Oh yeah, and you still have to do a bit of shaking to get the clumps out and the mixture is a bit watery which leads my baby girl to want more after her usual amount.

Mold in tubing resulted in mold in bottles!

    Reviewed by - February 28, 2024

Noticed flakes of brown in my baby’s bottle today, went through all the steps to clean the parts and it still happened. Took machine apart and discovered mold had formed in the tubing inside the machine, which was coming out in our baby’s bottles. Thank god we noticed but worried we didn’t catch it in earlier bottles. Very disappointed given the price and safety/health issues at play.
