While I am pleased with security on my internet usage, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of spam coverage on my email. Any Bitdefender package I have ever previously used covered my email very well. This one does not. Additionally, I am constantly getting pop-up messages about how my router is unsafe, and I should turn on Bitmap VPN. Only problem with that - it's only 200 mg per day. When that's used up, pop-ups tell me I can't open or download anymore, so I need to shut if off. Then, they start constantly bugging about how I need to upgrade to get better VPN coverage. I already paid enough - give me a break already!

Very impressed with this product. Have used a lot of AV in the past and am very careful about bloatware products as I run a lot of gaming machines. I heard that this product was very low impact on the PC performance so I gave it a shot as I got it at a really good price. Very glad I did as this is the best AV I have used. My machines ran without a hitch, virtually no impact to my frame rate. Likely this is my AV choice going forward and I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants great security for their PC's but are concerned about keeping their PC's running optimally for gaming.

I purchased this product in Feb.2019 because of the "offer"(valid for 3 years). I`m using this Antivirus for a few years from now. Never let me down, and always I received help from their department. Unfortunately, today I had hard time to install on other device I have. I contacted the Bitdefender Support Department, and, in 2 min I got online support and guided me how and what to follow to be able to install the same code, on other devices. Many thanks to Ioannis Paparizos (Bitdefender Employee), for his patience, help and helpful guidelines! Good job Bitdefender, be THE ONE !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bitdefender is the real deal. I have used several anti-virus programs over the years and have to say this one is up there with the best. The User interface is modern yet simple to use. I have this on a few laptops and what stands out is that Bitdefender isn’t a strain on system resources when running in the background. I am able to move without any problem from app to app and page to page on the Internet with no discernable or perceived lag on the OS. The Home page or dash board has the most used protection features on it and allows the user to customize the page with their own protection features they may use often. You’re able to manage the firewall, Passwords, spam, and vulnerabilities with ease. Bitdefender can also be loaded on mobile devices as well. This antivirus program checks all of the boxes and then some. I would have no problem recommending it to my friends and family.

The product protects like its supposed to. My complaint is that I have no control concerning when it's maxing out read/write to my disk. I adjusted and reviewed all the settings but it is still maximizing drive usage. I like this anti-virus, but not sure why it behaves this way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a few experiences with different internet security services. I am very impressed with Bitdefender Total Security 2019 subscription. The Bitdefender has one of the best protection features. One of the features that I like is the Vulnerability setting which reminds you to change passwords. So far, it has a done an excellent job with its antivirus, firewall, saves files which protect access to valuable documents, and anti-spam online threat prevention. The advanced threat defense features are one of the modules which are most of the interest because it is the behavioral blocking component. The ransomware remediation feature automatically restores if there are any encrypted files. All these modules make Bitdefender Total Security 2019 the best multi-layer defense for any computer. The included VPN makes this product a plus to have due to the recent repeal of the net neutrality regulation. The subscription allows installation for up to five devices. My laptop performs better, and I feel more secure when I go online. Overall, I am satisfied with my new total security software.

Good product. Doesn’t take too much processing running in background and does a pretty good job overall. Have a lot of features which I tried to take advantage of, especially like mobile security and such. One star off for bitdefender customer service not being up to par to me. Told me to go to Best Buy to resolve an issue from their product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Install was very fast on my laptop. It scans your system while installing. Once done, there was an update. I had to enable the "ransomware remediation" option, which protects and fixes if you want to prevent one of those new ransomware that encrypt your data for a payment. I also enabled the automatic profiles as I game a lot on my laptop, so it automatically detects if you are gaming or playing a movie and not annoy you with messages or interruptions. Footprint of the interface seems very light, it did not notice any slow downs on my laptop, granted its a 6 core one, however with only 8 Gigs of ram, and it was still fast and no slowdowns. Its a great solution and you can install it in as much as 5 devices, including Macs!

NEVER have i EVER had a security program that had to CONSTANTLY stay COMPLETELY DISABLED, JUST so i could use TRUSTED CLEAN apps without them being blocked firewalled and deleted!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING HOW MUCH I SPENT ON THIS "TOTAL" security system..... only reason I've kept it this long is in hopes that with it being THIS THOROUGH, MAAAYBE it'll catch it if i do actually get an actually infected fle.... BUT!!!! being blocked from modifying almost anything i put on the computer is getting on my last nerve!!!!!, most of my files are read only locked and i can't remove the attribute!!!! all immediately after installing THIS.....

I've been using bit defender for about 10 years now. I have use a lot of antivirus software over the years however when it comes to Bit Defender I couldn't be more pleased with a antivirus software. The only 2 complaints I could possible think of would be the fact that at times on certain PCs the current version of software does slow down the system. Also when it comes to installing programs on my PC always having to give the go ahead in Bit defender's application access before the the software is allowed to install can get a bit annoying but at the end of the day its comforting knowing that Bit Defender always has my back. I would give bit defender a 10/10.
