The digital download version comes pre-activated from the date of the purchase. This means you will not be able to use it to merge with and extend your previous subscriptions. You will end up with two overlapping subscriptions. Beware!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG, so darn slow for Daily & or all Bitdefender Security Updates & I mean SLOW! It's literally driving me crazy seeing & dealing with this every day at these continuing SLOW crawl Speeds which are not improving. Bitdefender Security Products are one of the slowest Security Products to update their Products & Daily Virus Definition Updates as I have seen & experienced. It takes 9 Minutes or longer at times with my Wired 400+ Mbps Broadband Internet Connection to let & get my Bitdefender Total Security 2024 to update & complete its Daily Security & Product Updates from the Bitdefender Security Servers. This kind of dreadful, SLOW Updates from a very popular Security Product is just lame & really needs to be worked on & greatly improved here soon or in the near future of all of their Security Products. No other Internet Security Software out there that I have purchased or used on my Desktop Computer in the past has been this terribly SLOW at Updating and completing Daily Updates... Bitdefender most definitely needs to focus & work on improving & making their Daily Security & Product Updates, as well as their Update Servers respond, work better & faster than they are now... I feel like their Updates are in Turtle Mode or slower! Also, Bitdefender Total Security has been taking & using a lot of my Computers System Resources heavily at times too. That making my Computer slow to boot & startup which is also a concern and an annoyance to me. I am not so sure that I will purchase & take on another Bitdefender Product for these noticeable & noted reasons that I am experiencing & dealing with Daily?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Bitdefender since 2018 . Got lucky looking for Bitdefender deals online when I saw it here on Best Buy. There was a wonderful sale and I saved quite a bit more than buying it directly from Bitdefender's website. I have a home office and wanted to beef up my security so I decided to go with this. Very user friendly as I was able to set it up myself with no help. Love that it can cover up to 4 devices and I could purchase a multi year subscription. With the reviews and experience I've had with it so far, I definitely feel like my system is well protected. If you decide to go with this for your security definitely purchase it from Best Buy!

Just bought it recently. Take some time to download it as the link it provides only can download the install launcher, not the software itself. Took a while to download the program. Once installed and setup, it kept telling me to use VPN....and I can't turn it off. It does the job to prevent being infected. But the notification about VPN is super annoying as it will keep popping up every few hours....sometimes it makes me think its part of the melware.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm setting up a new computer and wanted a copy of an anti-virus that I could install before connecting the new computer to the internet. Despite what it says, this is not that. The best I can do is download an installer that will enable the new computer to download the program from BitDefender. Had I known this was the case, I would have bought the physical disc, but in the age of social distancing I thought it would be more appropriate to go the digital route. Worse, is that since it was a digital download, I have no recourse for the misadvertising. On the plus side, the actual program works well enough though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seemed okay at first. Then I realized my PC was no longer going to sleep and my screen saver was just a memory. You can still change the setting, but on reboot, it turns them off. It seems to have to do with game mode. You can't turn it off, but you can unselect manage power plan. I have Windows 11 Pro and made it a group policy to not be able to change the settings, but somehow Bitdefender even bypasses that. When I searched solutions, it says to scan for malware. You really don't want your security suite behaving like malware. I uninstalled it. Over 2 hours of messing with it and I'm done.

I've been using this for last 2 years for my mobile and no complaints thus so far. This time i wanted to try for my laptop and got best deal at bestbuy. Only drawback is 200mb vpn per day limit. Thats the reason for 4star instead of 5star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick installation and plenty of added features for a low price. There are also fewer pop ups unlike other antivirus softwares. I will definitely be recommending this antivirus to others.
