[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shelf was actually the feature that sold me on the Bosch stackable washer and dryer. However in the tight space we had for installation, this feature makes it nearly impossible to level the dryer! In the ventless design, then, the water removed from the wet clothes may not drain to the dryer's sump, and that water has to go somewhere - on to the shelf, and down to the floor. PLUS that water quickly delaminates the shelf surface! Troubleshooting tells you to clean seals and level the dryer (impossible when stacked as mentioned earlier). You can't remove the shelf for repair without unstacking the dryer. The documentation for the washer/dryer is pitiful, and doesn't address the shelf at all.

Accesory is fitted between drying machine and washing machine. Some drops of water falls down and enters inside the plastic-wood joint, delaminating it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stacking kit costs an extra $100, but it's so worth it! When you are short on space (which is the entire reason for buying these expensive compact units) then go the extra mile and get this pull out tray for your stacking kit! It's SO useful for pulling out and folding clothes in between loads! Otherwise you will need to find some other counter space to do that. I've had many compliments on it from house guests and visitors. Especially guests that stayed for a week and needed to use the machines, Highly recommended!

ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER I BOUGHT THE DRYER THE SHELF BEGAN TO BUBBLE AND SOON AFTER THE WHITE SURFACE STARTED TO CRUMBLE AROUND THE EDGES OF THE SHELF. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN TO SUCH AN EXPENSIVE DRYER. IT'S EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE AND WILL LIKELY NEED A REPAIR PERSON TO INSTALL IT BETWEEN THE STACKABLE DRYER AND WASHER. VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THIS.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our washer and dryer live in a very small space in our breakfast room. The WTZ11400 is a very necessary part of our installation. It also makes transferring clothes from the washer to the dryer much easiler.
