    Broken in 4.5 Months

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only shave 4-5 days a week, sometimes less but never more, so I can’t say the shaver head was overused. I kept it clean and lubed up with Braun’s cleaning solution. I work out of town, so of course I'm on the road when it started rattling and making some new sounds. Removed it from the shaver and had some black plastic pieces fall out. A few minutes more of “shaving” and one head completely falls out. All of this within 4.5 months. This is the first time i’ve reviewed one, but this has happened 3-4 times before. Somehow I’ve always thought to myself that “this one will be different.” Nope. These replacements are JUNK. They don’t shave as well as the originals. They crap out WAY ahead of time (replace every 18 months Braun? Yeah right). They’re WAY overpriced for what you get. BUYER BEWARE. I plan to reach out to Braun for some kind of reimbursement, replacement, or warranty claim (doubtful). I’d hate to replace a perfectly good shaver and base simply because i’m done spending +$80/year on junk heads. And if i do, it wont be Braun… look at the reviews for the Series 9 replacement heads. Same thing.

    Poor quality replacement heads

    I have tried two replacement heads in the past three months that are terrible. The razor now barely shaves and feels like it's pulling my hair out. It takes 4 times longer to shave my face. I'm not getting a clean, close shave like I was with the original razor purchased a few years ago and previous replacement heads. I used a new replacement in October that was bad, figured maybe it was a one time thing and bought another new one that is also terrible. What a waste of money. The quality of the replacement blades has gone bad - my experience is the same as the other reviewers. I clean my shaver daily and with solution once a week.

    Can't Find Replacement Heads Anywhere!

    Can't find these replacement heads anywhere and I barely have my Braun Series 7 790 for a year. Waste of money I'm noticing. Too bad I loved my Braun Razor and now it will just sit there might have to throw it since i won't be able to even sell it! I'm moving to Panasonic Arc5 Electric Razor which seems to be 2nd place to Braun and I found replacement heads easy for Panasonic. If you're a Braun Fan just be prepare to buy around 5 replacement heads in advance if you see them in stock for your Braun to last more years at least. I learned my lesson with Braun. I'm sure I'm not the only mad customer here, mostly everyone has this same issue.

    Don't throw out the original!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know who makes the replacements parts for these shavers but, the quality control leaves much to be desired. This replacement head is not nearly as good as the original. Not by a long shot. It's not as sharp as the old one (which I thought needed replacing) and, it rattles and buzzes like crazy. I'm afraid it will fall apart, or worse, damage my shaver. I'm glad I kept the old one. Even after a year of use, the original is still sharper, smoother and much more quiet than the replacement. Even at $37.00 (which is a good deal), these replacement heads aren't cheap and, one should expect better quality. I'm disappointed.

    A must upkeep item

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit, I really struggled when looking for this item, and to be perfectly honest I was completely at fault. I used to have an older model that had 2 parts that needed to be replaced, the blades on the inside and the outer casing which contains the foil. I completely forgot the fact that this model incorporates both in it's replacement cartridges, big idiot me I kept looking for a package that contained both but I could find none, just this lousy package which only seemed to contain the foil. I just couldn't wrap my hear around as to why they would only sell the foil and not the blades. Anyways, don't be like me and remember that it's all in one.

    Bad Foil and Cutter replacements`

    I've owned my Braun 6520 Flex Integral razor for about 8 years, and liked it more than any other razor I ever used. I've replaced the cutter and foil 4 times during its life and gotten a great and comfortable shave every time. I just got the new Braun Series 3 31S replacement and from the first use it pulled my skin, didn't shave closely and was downright uncomfortable to use. I see from the other comments here that I am not alone. I will try to use my old foil and cutter for a few more months and if the design of the new foils hasn't been changed back, I will be looking for a new brand of razor.

    Awesome Replacement Cartridge

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Guys, shaving can be a real pain. I swore I would never switch to an Electric razer, as I thought nothing would beat a blade shave. I was very wrong. I tried the Braun series 7 electric shaver and it shaves in 1/3 the time a blade does. Changing cartridges is a snap, it pops off and the new one pops back on. It's all dry shaving, and a breeze to clean. I tap the shaver head on the sink and a touch of canned air, and I'm done. It cleans itself in the clean and renew charging system so your next shave is as good as your first. Try it, you won't ever cut your face again, and save tons of time.

    This is a follow up to my previous review. Braun responded to my complaint with a number to call in. I called them and they handled the matter with complete professionalism. They repeatedly apologized and said that they would send me a replacement razor head. When I received it, it was of the quality that I expected and have always experienced before the last faulty ones. They explained that it's possible that a faulty one or two can slip through but if it ever happens again to call them and they will handle the matter. The Series 7 is a great product and I would still recommend it!

    Poor quality replacement...

    I have purchased a Series 7 shaver after years of having a Series 5. The original head that it came with was fine, but after replacing the head, it skips and doesn't give a good shave any more. I tried cleaning the head both by hand and by the cleaning system that came with the shaver, and still having the same problem. I wonder why nothing has been done to fix the heads, since seventy-five people have reviewed the part and it has only received one and a half stars? It is too bad because I used to tell everybody to buy a Brain shaver to find out that the quality has gone downhill. It has been so bad, that I am shopping for a Panasonic instead, and that is what I would suggest other people do too.

    Replacement needs a replacement

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Series 7 replacement head with another Series 7 replacement head and within 2 weeks, the 2 springs within the shaver head popped out causing the foil to loosen and exposed. I tried putting it back but the foil will not reattach. Now i only can use half the shaver which has not broken….yet.
