Fantastic until the plastic cogs lose their teeth

    Reviewed by - 16 octobre 2021

Looks built tough on the outside and certainly has been put through it's paces over a number of years. But seriously why go to the expense of all solid construction except for the plastic cogs that drive the all important reamer? I'm now struggling to find the core cog spare part number 30 in Australia - Breville please help?

    Breville Citrus Juicer

Reviewed by Alison Hayford - 6 février 2014

So far (one month of daily use) this juicer has more than met our expectations. It is easy to use and much quieter than the smaller, less expensive juicers we had been using (and that broke down after a year or two). It is mostly easy to clean, though juice splashes into the handle. It is solid enough that it doesn't jump around while in use--which is a good thing, because if you leave the spout up and let juice accumulate, it does leak a bit. While it is expensive, it is a far better juicer than other models we have been using, and since we make a lot of fresh citrus juice in season, it is worth the expense.

    good citrus press

    Reviewed by Tom - 10 février 2014

If you enjoy fresh squeezed citrus juices, and live in the land of 110 volts, this is your juicer. I was motivated to buy one after renting an apartment in Rome that had an even nicer one (220 volts). I searched for months to find something like it. This is close. I'm suspicious of the longevity of some of the plastic parts. Breville has kindly included some extras in the box in anticipation of this. So no 5 stars, sorry. The one in Italy would go for 25 years without an issue. All polished stainless.

    Sparks Joy

Brilliant. This appliance is simple to use and clean. I use it every morning for my oranges, including beautiful blood oranges currently in season. I then juice a lemon for a salad dressing and a lime to add to soda water later in the day. I clean the fruit dome and juicing cone outside in my garden. Excellent for boosting vitamin C intake and suitable for anyone with arthritis.

Say goodbye to stiff fingers and sub par juicing..

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - 25 janvier 2021

I’m really impressed with this unit. I understand cheaper units can be purchased but from experience, I know they are either cheap plastic, or extreme finger work is needed to push the fruit against the spinning fins. I’m arthritic and doing this leaves juicing literally a pain. Now, I can cut and juice multiple oranges/lemons/lime in no time. There’s no staining and the trays are super easy to clean. There’s no way to overheat this unit if you take a few seconds break between fruit. Easily done if your pausing to grab your next piece. A tip for maximum output: I’ve found lifting the handle just long enough to slightly rotate the fruit with your other hand ensures the piece comes out nearly bone dry..

Attracted by clean lines and stainless steel construction

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - 6 mai 2024

When comparing the Breville with our old juicer we have a few issues with the Breville Citrus Press design. We felt it could have been slightly more compact especially with regard to height. The Press came with additional ring clips to overcome a design issue. The shape of the dome press is very pointed which does not efficiently extract the juice from the perimeter of the orange or citrus. What I love most are the clean lines. My husband uses the juicer more than me and continues to use the old more efficient and less attractive and very simple juicer despite its drawbacks.

    Citras Press

    Reviewed by - 19 juillet 2020

This Breville citrus press is huge waste of money, purchased it a few months ago but only just started using it as our citrus came into season. Every time we us it we only juice approx 40 oranges over about 10 minutes and it shuts down and will not restart for at least 24 hours. We have a 25 year old Breville Cyclonic Whiz food processor that has a juicer incorporated with it that just keeps going and going with no problems. We thought the upgrade to this new model would make life a little easier not so, don't waste your money on this dud machine.

Works well except for the corrosion on the top detracting from it appearance.

    Reviewed by - 29 mars 2024

I’m very happy with the juicer but disappointed with the corrosion on the top of the machine. I bought a second machine after the first one corroded badly and have carefully cleaned and dried the machine after EVERY use and at approximately 6 months old this replacement juicer also started to corrode. The juicer still works perfectly but the now significant corrosion certainly detracts from its appearance. Can the top part of the machine be replaced with a spare and if so how can the old one be removed?

My favourite juicer in over 50 years!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - 28 septembre 2022

It's a well built solid machine, with very few plastic parts; it's very easy to use and clean; You can press any size of citrus from small lemon to big pomelos; the motor is powerful enough and starts only when pressing the citrus. We're using it almost daily for years and it makes me smile as I remember how tedious using the previous juicer was! My only regret is the lack of single spare parts, for example the small rubber stopper is not sold separately, it's part of the juice collector.

    The citrus press pro

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - 9 décembre 2024

The product is good but I have a problem with manufacturing. I would like to have the plastic lid which covers the press so dust doesn’t get through. My previous press had it but this one does not. I am very disappointed because of this. The press is sitting on the counter and I need to cover it with cloth .So, so disgusting. Too bad for the image of the company. It is probably a few dollars more but it would make the clients very satisfied.
