[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with the printer's performance but the toner cartridges are junk. I put a brand new TN310C in it on 12/27/14. Ran approx. 700 copies (90% black ink, very little color) and got a message to replace the cyan toner on 1/29/15. Performance was less than half of what is advertised. I'm sorry I bought it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have little option but to buy the Brother toner cartridges when my toner is low. They work just fine but they are extremely expensive and do not last particularly long. If I had known when I bought the printer that I'd have to invest so much so often, I would have bought another printer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ink for this brother printer is a bit pricey when replacing all four cartridges but it seems to last several years even with a lot of printing. Seems like it lasts way longer than the page count quoted on the box. Good color as well.
