[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I searched the BB catalogue for the 251Y and did not notice that the 281Y cartridge was instead substituted. When I inserted the 281Y cartridge it fit but did not register with the printer. Therefore it is useless. Unfortunately when I discovered this it was past the return by date. I went back to the catalogue to order a replacement 251Y and the same thing happened. The 281Y was offered. Ultimately I had to purchase the cartridge from another supplier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A friend suggested we purchase the Canon printer TR8520 to replace our older & faithful (other brand) wireless printer we had for 6 years; we did so May 2020. This is our first Canon printer, which uses 281 color & black plus PGBK280 black ink cartridges (5 total - older printer used 5 ink cartridges also). We have been pleased, so far, with this printer's performance and ink quality. We always use XL size & have tried XXL for our new Canon printer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced the yellow ink with a brand new product previously ordered through auto-replenish, then within 1 hour received a notice of another order of yellow ink. Also another order for the black ink I had just replaced. I could not cancel either order online. I called and they said they couldn't cancel it either, so I will have to find a store and return them. Auto-replenish is not very smart. Looks like I'll be cancelling my enrollment.

It is because of the bright colors that come out of my work product, or copy of something. The printer I had before had very dull work products. I am happy with the Magenta and all the other colors in my machine! I'm looking forward to years of use and beautiful work products. Thank you, Canon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the high-yield ink cartridges over the other ones. They seem to be a better value since they contain more ink. I still feel that ink cartridges - not just this one but all of them - are overpriced. I suppose this makes up for the fact that the printers themselves tend to be underpriced. Beyond that, this thing fits into my printer (HOORAY!) and works just fine (DOUBLE HOORAY!).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rarely use color, but the color ink cartridges seem to go down even when I don't use them (evaporation?) and as with all ink cartridges they are expensive. Also even though I have plenty of black ink and just want to print in black, if a color cartridge is empty, the printer is disabled and cannot print black, until you replace the color cartridges. . Very inconvenient and irritating!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In theory, there isn't much to say about ink that hasn't already been said, but, in fact, it can safely be noted that proper Canon ink in a Canon printer can't be beat. I have switched over to the XL cartridges because I think they are a better value. It you use this for photo printing, be sure to get the Canon paper. You will have pro-level quality prints almost for sure.
