[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This XL size may last longer -a little longer. A bit expensive, the ink is high quality and seems waterproof once dry --even on plain paper it doesn't smudge or run with water spills. ** TIP ** to save on color inks: don't select "Grayscale Printing" in the print preference box (Win7) --that still drains color inks mixed together for grayscale, really! Instead, under the "Maintenance" tab & "Ink Cartridge Settings" is an option to use the Black Cartridge only. It will nag you every time you print, but will actually print using only the black ink, and let you save the color inks for when you actually need color printouts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the black cartridge for the Canon MG3200 all-in-one. This is a great ink jet printer, especially with the Bluetooth wireless printing. Printer also has automatic duplex. I print music on it, with two-sided pages. The black image is dark and almost as sharp as laser. The monochrome laser is slightly sharper, and is cheaper to use. The laser toner cartridges last much longer, but when you change the cartridge, it's like installing several ink cartridges at the same time: the cost of the individual toner cartridge is much higher than an ink cartridge. The cost per page is, nevertheless, lower on laser. The MG3200 prints in vivid color, great for the covers for music scores.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I frequently have to print things for either work or my family. This printer ink does the job. It lasts me a little less than a year. Sometimes I'll go a month without printing, and typically the first print after being idle for a significant period of time is actually pretty good. While other times I'll have to print a few 10+ page documents a few times in a month. Price isn't too bad for printer ink. Typically ink is outlandishly expensive and dries up quickly but this ink, I'd say, is probably the best overall ink I've had so far and I've gone through about 5 or so printers in the last 25+ years.

We do a lot of printing with 2 college students in the household, and the original Canon products last longer and are hassle-free. I have tried many different replacement cartridges and none have compared to the originals for ink quantity and quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I run out of black and white ink more often so I keep and extra on hand. I always go with the original OEM brand. It's not the bargain of a lifetime but I know it will instalk correctly and it will work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a printer cartridge. It fits my printer. It makes my printer print exactly as the instructions say. It's a replacement for exactly what came with the printer, my expectations weren't that hard to meet. They were met. I can't possibly imagine giving a poor review since they're only a piece of a bigger thing which also seems to work pretty well. I guess if it starting hitting on my wife or tried to steal my car my rating wouldn't be so good, but my wife said the cartridge was very well behaved and too small to drive so I don't feel threatened. Is it an amazing product? No. It is a perfectly adequate product. It isn't bad nor good, not exceptional nor underwhelming. It's very good at being exactly what it is.
