What customers are saying

The Canon toner and ink cartridges are generally viewed as reliable and high-quality, producing satisfactory results. However, they are considered quite expensive, with the ongoing cost of replacement cartridges sometimes exceeding the original printer price. While some customers are willing to pay the premium for the brand, others have tried more affordable third-party options with mixed results in terms of print quality. Overall, the quality of the Canon products is seen as worth the cost, but the high prices may be a barrier, especially for home or personal use.

    Good color. Overpriced.

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - March 28, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. Atrociously overpriced. Cartridges don’t last anywhere close to as long as expected; even when printing in lower quality. I will buy cheap discount toner brands in future. Even if those cheap toners aren’t quite as deep colors, I’ll deal with it. If the cheap timers ruin the printer, I’ll toss the printer and switch back to ink. I am to the point of tossing the printer now due to toner cost (and physical size). So, using cheap toners (less than $150 for 4 toners) is a small $ risk; especially when compared to 3x-4x more expensive Canon original brand. There is “some margin” in this toner cartridges. And those physical cartridges are the actual ‘cost’. The toner is nothing.

    HP is better

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - November 28, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a Canon printer which used this type of toner, if you occasionally print some photos it might work for you but I was using this for professional labels and all thought the quality is good, the toner run out pretty fast and the printer is a nightmare, it doesn't work for professional paper like glossy paper because it will often get a paper jam, also this toner spill out too much ink powder, so I changed for HP and it's been wonderful ever since and the toner last longer, no paper jam using professional glossy paper and overall is the same price than these ones.

It doesn't matter if InkJet or Toner - It costs!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - December 16, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't matter if InkJet or Toner - It costs! The only benefit of the toner is the length of time and the number of printable pages you get. I think the costs as a personal home use is the same regardless. I will stick with the Laser printer, however the ink/Toner is the cost of the printer. Good luck fellow humans when you want the convenience to print at home. When I can afford to go with the OEM, I stick with the OEM.

I like Canon products for my toner cartridges.

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - October 29, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the color. All cartridge's are expensive however. I buy the Canon ones the best. It has served me well. It is easy to open and put into my printer. I always shake it back and forth when it runs low and this results in additional ink to use before having to replace it.

    Great print quality

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - October 21, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Original toner cartridge for our Canon MF733Cdw Printer. Installed easy, no mess. Yes, quite expensive to buy all 4 cartridges (Blk, Magenta, Cyan, Yellow); however, they last a long time, so toner repurchases are infrequent. Return used product for proper recycling.

    Not bad color

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - March 15, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Color on these are great, last a long time but the price is really high. Cost twice as much as the printer to fill your machine. Will update if the cartridge does not last long. Recommended because, what else are you going to buy. Never buy 3rd party toner.

pricy, but so is all printer ink

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - December 22, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buying printer ink sucks because it's always so pricy... no matter what brand, or what type of printer. In fact the replacement ink typically costs more than the printer itself. That being said, it works out to about $0.09/page so I'm OK with that.

    Easy to install

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - August 24, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time to replace toner in my Canon printer. The starter toner cartridge had lasted several months. It was really simple to install plus I got directions on how to recycle. I love Canon products!

    Genuine peace of mind

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - April 7, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So much peace of mind using genuine toner. Used aftermarket in the past and one bad cartridge ruined the printer. Not worth the headache and the money saved ended up being spent on a new printer.

    Does the trick

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 14, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toner cartridge is easy to install and is recyclable. Lasts longer than the starter cartridge. Recycle via a downloadable postage paid label. Send it out UPS. Great product.
