Just to manage expectation "Features built-in sensors to provide exactly what your plants need to thrive" this is totally false, there is 0 sensors. This is basically a water tank with LED on top. It does the job but not using high tech approach. You need to "plug" the machine at 5 am if you want the light to go off at 8 pm since it's not high tech enough or smart enough to allow click to set light hours. For the price I really thought it would be much more high tech

I love this thing. I saw some reviews that indicated too much money for the plants you can harvest. I don’t think the point of this is to replace produce shopping. This is an awesome way to have fresh herbs and to have items that you can eat right out of your grower. I have already harvested some leaf lettuce and the taste is amazing. Yes 1 out of the 9 does not look like I will harvest much from it but so what. I have had lots of joy from this grower and am waiting for a sale to buy another 9 one.

We love our Click & Grow, so much so we ordered a second one and a smaller one later. For the larger one, we used the pods that they came with (lettuce, basil and tomatoes). We planted our pods on January 1st and 3 weeks later they are all doing well. The lettuce sprouted immediately and is growing like gangbusters. The basil and tomato pods were a bit slower to start. We had a very late bloomer for the tomato, but he finally took off. I think the trick to the Click & Grow is patience and not overwatering. Do NOT overwater! Just wait until your tank is empty to put water back into the tank only then, don't just keep topping it up. Also a word of advice if you get the Smart Garden 9, make sure to just put the extension arms on from the beginning. We shortened ours and they got REALLY stuck! We had to use oil to get them loose.

I’m astonished how much difference a few plants growing in my apartment has made. I know it’s far from an English garden.. my mid City apartment is about the size of a small rose garden. I liked it so much I bought two 9-unit versions. They make a beautiful boundary between kitchen and living room.And no fuss: a garden fit for the Alexa era. This little connection to Mother Nature is worth more than every cent.

I just got this delivered and set up to find out that the plastic disposable pods are made of PS6 plastic. One of the most difficult plastics to recycle. You just don't expect new innovative items on the market like this to be so bad for the environment. So disappointed

It's just been 2 weeks, but everything has sprouted and looks very healthy. Can't wait to try the herbs and tomatoes. I tried keeping potted herbs before in my condo....but them in the window, but they just shrivelled up and died. Yes I watered them. So we are already off to a better start.

I really like the look of the product but out of 9 pods only three have sprouted. Will purchase empty seed pods in future and plant my own.

I have never been able to grow plants of any kind so I thought I would try the Click & Grow Smart Garden 9. I’m glad I did because after the very easy set up and adding water as directed and plugging in the smart garden I was amazed to see some sprouts just a few days later with the other 2 plant types taking a few days longer to sprout. I now have some mini tomato plants and some lettuce and some basil plants growing in my kitchen. I’m thrilled with my purchase so far and do recommend the Click & Grow Smart Garden 9 for people who have a brown thumb like me and have never had any luck growing anything. Keep in mind the lights are quite bright and stay on for 16 hours so be sure to plug it in at the time you want the lights to come on each day which might be very early in the morning because there is no other way to change the “on” time for the lights.

From my experience, tomatoes do not grow enough, lettuce and basil grow well. My wife is happy with it. However, in my opinion, the most important about this, is that it has helped my daughters (5 & 3) to kind of understand and to see the complete process from seed to food. They enjoy watching how plants grow every day, and they love to eat them.

Not only have I enjoyed watching the plants sprout, but I'm now just about ready to have my first salad since March 19th (now Sept 21). I've sent pics to friends and relatives, and most are poised to purchase for themselves. I am buying a second. I absolutely love this, on so many levels. Purchase it on sale.
