    Garbage

    Reviewed by Tin - 22 juin 2020

Bought this 5 months back, charged it the first day according to instructions before use. decided to test it, worked fine, my computer stayed running for 28 minutes sitting on the boot screen. I was happy. maybe 3 months in the power goes out, i didn't run to power off the computer thinking i have a good 15 or more minutes. NOPE, it had about 2 minutes charge, my system powered of in mid shut down.. thank god my system wasn't damaged NOW 5 months in, it doesn't even hold a charge anymore, even though it's plugged in 24/7 as per instructions. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, OR ANY OF THESE IN THIS PRODUCT BRAND-NAME.

    Don't do it

    Reviewed by PG - 13 février 2021

Garbage. Purchased and gave a full charge with no load for 24 hours. Unplugged (power out situation) and then tested voltage output from battery with no load; dropped immediately from 120V to 95V as soon as unplugged. Tried recharging and retesting and failed every time. Specs state that it will be 120V plus or minus 5% on battery when fully charged. This kind of voltage drop could damage any sensitive equipment like a computer. You are buying this UPS to protect your equipment. Massive fail Cyberpower! Return process for online order was easy anyway.

    Useless for me

    Reviewed by Dean - 23 septembre 2020

I bought this 260W battery backup to run a 25W device in the case of a power outage. I performed TWO tests to confirm it meets my need, which it does NOT. 1) Fully charge unit, unplug, and activate a 25W device. It lasted 50 minutes before powering down, instead of the estimate 10 hours+ of battery life that should have existed with a 260W charge 2) Fully charge unit, unplug, wait for 10 hours, and then activate the unit and power my 25W device. It lasted 10 minutes after a 10 hour hold, so in 10 hours, 95% of the charge was lost before it was even turned on. The only reason I gave this item 2 starts instead of 1, is that if you need a battery backup that lasts a few minutes, immediately after the power goes out, this will do the trick, but it does NOT discharge power at even close to the rate of use.

    Good UPS for small loads

    Reviewed by D50 - 14 juillet 2019

I tested the unit for battery back up using a desktop personal computer and a 32 inch monitor for five minutes and it worked fine. I was not able to change the alarm sound level though. I cannot speak about reliability as I have only used it for two weeks and there has not been any power failure.

    DOA / Just didn't work

    Reviewed by Dave - 18 décembre 2023

Purchased it for just running a small load of my ISP router which sits in a little network closet. Plugged it in set everything up.. Didn't intend to test it till the next day to let it get its full charge, work up to a constant solid beep noise. Directions indicate a solid tone is a dead battery or over load.. It is brand new and the load was tiny Just to be sure I moved it to anther room, plugged in an even smaller load 1 google mini and in a few hours it was constantly solid beeping again. Going to be a return for sure.

Hogs a little bit too much power on idle.

    Reviewed by David - 6 août 2020

This unit will draw about 15 watts per hour just to constantly be on standby. I don't have a point of reference on how other UPS units work for comparison but it was the cheapest UPS on the market. I'm going to give it 5 stars but it does what I expected. It's meant to be a backup for just your modem and router. Beyond that not so much.

Right UPS at the right price for the application!

    Reviewed by Knackzoat - 7 avril 2023

If you are looking for a UPS for a small draw application, that will keep your device running at a point of a power failure, especially a device that needs to be there and available and on all the time, this is the perfect sized UPS at the perfect price! It is small enough that it could be mounted on a wall beside the device that needs it for uninterrupted power and it also has enough capacity for that small draw application, so that if the power goes out, you have reserve capacity for hours!

    Exactly as Advertised! Great Product!

    Reviewed by Gil - 2 avril 2019

I have been using quite a lot of APC Uninterruptible Power Supplies since the 90's. The last few I purchased stopped working only a few weeks after I purchased them. So, I have purchased 3 CyberPower UPS Backup Systems just a few weeks back. I am very pleased with this product. The Software that comes with this is Fantastic also. I recommend that you Run the “Test UPS” Option, so you will see how it works, and also too make sure it runs exactly as you set it up for. Now, a Little Help for those looking to purchase a UPS System:  Before you can choose which one to buy, you need to find out how many Watts, etc that you need to be able to keep your items running when there is a Power Outage. If you purchased a UPS without enough Wattage Etc…, then your UPS will use Backup Power too quickly.  Next, you need to know how many Outlets you need.  Once your Power goes out, you will Only have around 5 minutes or so to Shut Down your items. If you connected your UPS to your PC via USB, and installed their Software, then you can set it up to Shut Down your item automatically when the Power goes Out. Now, if you want to have your PC, Etc… to have Backup Power for a “Long Period of Time”, then you “Need” to purchase a Generator.

    Package came completely torn

    Reviewed by Sandy - 12 juillet 2023

Disappointed with the negligent handling and packaging. The package lacked cushioning, had a torn box, and was inadequately taped, posing a risk to the enclosed battery. The absence of cushioning left the items vulnerable during transit, and the box was haphazardly taped together, failing to secure its contents. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for proper packaging is concerning. For the product itself it was easy setup.
