More Power than I was expecting
- May 22, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very tight media access port in my new home, so I needed to find the slimmest UPS within the dimensions to fit into my space. This unit is PERFECT in that regard. I was expecting that by going with a small profile unit, my backup power times would be challenged. Much to my surprise, when I needed it for the first time I discovered that it would keep my vital systems up for 90 minutes. This includes my optical modem, router, switch, a video hub, home automation hub and charging power to my alarm panel. My expectation was to get at least 10 minutes based on the 750 VA ratings and posted reviews. I am very pleased with this unit.

perfect battery backup
- March 10, 2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] replaced an old APC battery backup that was about 15 years old with this CyberPower 750VA and it works perfectly. No longer does the thing beep and shutoff every few days. The spacing for the plugs were perfect to fit laptop, printer, router, modem, monitor and Alexa. It's slim and fits perfectly against the wall between my desk. Hopefully this will last me another 15 years like my old one.

Second unit for additional location
- April 27, 2025[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The second one of these that I’ve purchased. I have one for my primary home which has been working very well, but I needed one for the cabin in the mountains. We get a lot of short, duration power outages up here in this unit of protects all of the equipment and keeps the Internet connection and Wi-Fi going during the power outages.

There is a very useful label on the box
- July 8, 2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works Great, Slim and light. When you actually go to teh store or see teh box in person, there is a very usefull table on top (and also on other units by CyberPower and others) that simply shows examples for number of hours for a typical Cable Modem, Wireless router etc.. so you can actually compare. I could not find this table anywhere online or in the manufacturer website - just on the boxes in the store. Odd Anyway, This is the most amount of hours per $ in Best Buy for this price category. This is my 2nd Cyber Power and 4Th UPS and it is a great thing to have.

Best purchase
- March 19, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this prior to the first 2020 Texas Winter freeze and one the lights went out I was able to continue to charge my phone, and my ipad. My children downloaded movies before the lights went out so we watched movies as we sat and kept warm. Our lights were out for right at 4 days. We took the charger to my car when we went out to keep warm in the car during the day and we were able to use the car charger to charge the battery- and Bam one at night we were fully charged not worried. Each of my children stated it is an investment worth having so they are going to get their own and I am upgrading to the larger on. Yup that’s right it’s awesome

CyberPower - 750VA Battery Back-Up System
- April 20, 2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my eons-old UPS unit's 2nd battery finally gave out, I found out that UPS was obsolete and a replacement battery cost half as much as a brand new UPS. So I took the opportunity to buy the CyberPower 750VA model; it's an upgrade and has worked flawlessly for me. The number of outlets (two of which are widely spaced to accommodate AC power adapters and two USB charging ports. The ability to communicate the status of the UPS to the computer (via the the PowerPanel Personal software) is another plus for this unit.

worthless
- October 28, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] plugged my laser printer into a battery backup outlet along with my low power computer monitor and a mini PC that has a 150watt power draw and went to print something and without warning it shut off. didnt warn me with a beep or alarm of any kind, it just shut off, it almost killed my computer I have for my job, It took me 30+ minutes and running recovery software before I could get into my computer again. if your planning on actually USING something with this backup system DONT, it's worthless unless you plan on running only an LED lamp with it, everything else will draw too much power for this thing to work right.

I am a heavy work from home person (last 25 years)
- July 20, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is nothing more annoying than having the internet drop because of subsecond power blip. My work is mostly connecting to customer remotely - very annoying when the connections drops and the long wait for everything to recycle. This is far bigger than my modem needs but it will keep it up for 2 to 4 hours - that is a lot of billable work time. Sometimes the power outage also takes the internet - nothing I can do about that. But last apartment the whole complex lost power (over 300 units) except me I had internet, TV and my computer equipment working for almost 2 hours before power restored. That one outage paid for all 3 of my back-up units. Never have a home without one.

Nice!
- December 28, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this just for my ONT, gateway, and router. I have AT&T fiber internet which requires an indoor optical network terminator as well a gateway device. I use my own router (Asus RT-AC86U) and while powering all 3 devices with a load on them I can get roughly 30 minutes of backup time. More than sufficient for a short brown out or black out scenario. I don't have it connected to a PC or anything at this point, but I have tested it's capabilities by throwing a breaker and it works great. The only thing I would like to have seen is true sine instead of simulated sine. But it was cheap so I can't complain!
