I purchased this product in July 2023 specifically for a large order of beef which filled the complete freezer. Also bought this model specifically for the door lock feature. The freezer works wonderfully and has ample space BUT the lock is an engineering failure. The door has a metal hook which when in the lock position fits into a PLASTIC FIXTURE WHICH IS "GLUED" TO THE FOAM INSULATION OF THE FREEZER. Pull forcefully on the door and the "plastic fixture" comes unglued and the door opens. I paid extra for a locking freezer to protect my purchase of over $1300 of beef, and got a plastic fitting glued to foam. This is an engineering failure.

Delivery and installation took 12 minutes. The status and controls is on a lighted panel on the door, so it is easy to change temperature setting, be warned of door open and high temperatures. I appreciate having a door handle so no digging my fingers into a small indent to open. I also like the see-through plastic shelves and drawers inside. The Owner's Manual and Installation Instructions are easy to understand. If the control panel is a concern it can be either locked so settings are not changed or put into Dormant mode so that it only lights up briefly when door is opened or a button on the control panel is pushed.

This is a very nice freezer. It was easy to organize and sort our items. We purchase our pork and beef whole and have them processed so we have a lot of meat. I like to use clear plastic commercial food pans to organize items and these fit perfectly in this freezer. It's compact but holds a lot! I am very pleased with this freezer and would purchase it again if we were in need of an additional freezer.

It has locking door, a temp display on the outside, and an alarm if the power goes out or temps get too high. Plenty of space/shelves/drawers. Perfect size. It was cold within 20 minutes of turning it on. The door has a very quiet chime when you open it, which is kind of cool. Approx 5'x30"x30".

The perfect size frost-free upright freezer fir the garage. Arrived cocooned in cardboard in perfect condition. Quiet and well insulated. Highly recommend.

Love the freezer but after 8 months of use the door handle broke off completely! Hope we can easily replace!

I wanted a standing freezer for our basement. We're looking to welcome our third baby and could use the extra space for freezer meals and milk, once the baby arrives. I am so happy that I selected this model. It is compact, but spacious. I love the drawers at the top and bottom shelves. The compartments in the door are great for additional storage. The freezer even has a lock on the side. Great for keeping out unwanted kids. The model comes with two keys. I love how the controls are right on the front of the unit and so easy to use. A perfect freezer for a busy family. I can't wait to put all my extra freezer space to good use (and not have to hear complaints about how there's no room for my husband's ice cream!)

I think this is a good freezer, especially the arrangement of shelves, bottom drawer & side doors bins. I order this at "height of pandemic" and most fortunately GE manages to recommence production of these units!! Kudos! This is a very nice unit. I'm happy with the size as we're retired and have no need to store much. The thing that stands out is how nice the interior lighting is! If you need a 14 cu. ft. size freezer this is what you want from this company... I shopped a lot and was "thwarted" a few times but stuck with this model and am glad.

I bought it 4 months ago and got a good deal. It has clear shelves on the door and a big drawer storage at the bottom.The height is about 5 ft tall and looks modern. Perfect for a second refrigerator in the garage. Also, it runs very quiet. I’m glad I chose this refrigerator over the other brand. Overall, I would recommend it.

We just purchased this up right freezer and I think it was a good choice!! My wife also kept telling me you did good babe…. Lol thanks GE for give me the extra brownie points.
