This washing machine is just ok. And the twin dryer that goes on top of this washing machine is frankly terrible. It « BALLS » all the clothes up. I Will send pictures. If I put one sheet or a towel or anything else to dry, after going around for about 5 minutes or so, it envelops all the clothes into a giant ball and keeps turning. I have to open the dryer and « unwrap » that ball in order to get the other items out of the enclosed ball. Then I have to «  hang dry » all the items except for one !!!!!!! Frankly it’s just ridiculous. I need to change it. Nothing dries like this. Can you please help me????

We have limited space for a side by side washer and dryer. So we decided to purchase a stackable washer and dryer to give extra room for a laundry tub. The solution was a GE top and bottom washer dryer combo. Our choice since we have many pleasent experiences with GE appliances. We did have to spend days running form store to store with a tape measure to be sure of the dimensions. There is adaqute room on sides and back to allow for all flow. We are very pleased with the results! See attached photos.

The washing machine is an apartment-sized one. It is easy to use and does a good job cleaning my clothes. It has a number of different cycles, which I appreciate. The downside to this machine is it does not fit into the closet where I have my washer and dryer. The Whirlpool I had before fit perfectly — this one does not. It sticks out because the washer door is not flush with the machine and I think that is a poor design. I measured the space before purchasing, thinking it would fit, but the measurements apparently did not include the jutting out door. I will now have to hire a carpenter to try and adjust my door so that it will close around the machine. So, if you do buy this machine, double measure a hundred different ways to make sure it will fit your space.

So far my washer has worked very nicely. Not for bigger loads but does very well.

I replaced a full-size washer and dryer that fit under a counter. They lasted 20 years. Unfortunately, they no longer make that size so I had to purchase the next size down to fit that space. I picked GE because it's a well known brand, but mainly I picked it for the size requirement. It does a good job of washing, but... With the smaller size, the loads have to be smaller, so there are more loads to be done. Also, instead of a 20 minute wash cycle, the wash cycle is two or three times as long. Also almost all the controls are electronic, which concerns me as to how long they will last and if they are going to be serviceable.

Awesome product. Ive had this for a coupe years now and i love how it works. The steam function is great for stains. Clothes always come clean.

Very silent, working like a clock with a great design. Super quality. I would recommend this brand and this model to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor quality. Mine broke after 5 years of light use. GE makes the Flange Shaft Assembly of a weak material easily corroded by the water and soap. this is a critical element of the machine, the cost of the piece is close to $400 + installation and since it is necessary to open completely the machine, total cost is more than a new one. GE did not assumed any responsibility for this fail because it happened after more than one year, so for them making a defective critical piece is not their problem. It is clear this a defect of fabrication. I had to order a new washer in Best Buy and of course this time not this brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fabulous washer! I bought the matching dryer too. These fit perfectly in the laundry area in my bathroom. Just the right size for me. The washer handles 5 bath towels, 5 hand towels and multiple wash cloths with no problem. They don’t take up a lot of space. And I must add that they are very pretty. The inside rim of the doors are diamond cut. Sooooo pretty. Really enjoying theses appliances.
