Beautiful and functional sums up this hood. The three speeds gives you an option to use for your cooking needs. The motor on high is a little loud, but that’s to be expected. The power is nice. I would recommend this product to others.

I bought this hood in July to replace a 39-year-old harvest gold under cabinet range hood that I sprayed black three years ago to match the stove, and I'm so glad I did. It's beautiful, modern, and a conversation starter; and paired with a stainless steel backsplash it makes my old stove look good too. In fact this was my inspiration for the new herringbone backsplash, marble countertops and soft gray painted cabinets. The fan is powerful on high and purrs on low; the light is bright enough to not only illuminate the stove but the nearby countertops as well. The entire hood, including the filters, are easy to clean.

We love the ease of using the hood! There are three different level of fan speed and two different light brightness. We use it as a nightlight at night for kids or adults looking for food or drink. Even on low the light illuminates our large open concept home. We have the builder vent the air to the outside and it makes a huge different when cooking meals for our large family! I would definitely buy this again!

vent pipe cover very flimsy and cheap with no room for error on installation. Installing store where purchased from could not get it right and re-installed unit 3 times(first time installed sideways and didn't even connect to vent to the outside elbow) before getting it close to correct and straight but also used caulk on edges and made a huge mess and shows finger prints to no avail.

Love the new vent hood. The functionality is great, as there are multiple levels of fan speed. The lights even have a bright and low option which is great! We went with the extra length of chimney, due to the vaulted ceiling in our space. We get so many compliments!

We installed GE Hood ( model JVW5301SJSS) and we are very happy with product. It is very silent and does the job effectively. Installation quite easy

Absolutely beautiful. Looks great on my new ceramic tile. Highly recommend.

Not terrible really, but two things wrong with it. First of all, the little screws they supply for the top of the chimney are the cheapest crap. Strip out immediately when you try to use them. The other issue is the vent slots in the bottom section of the chimney. These vent slots are for people who choose the self venting option. On a good unit, these slots are in the top section so you can face them down and hide them when you are venting outside. This unit you don't have this option so the venting shows through the side of the chimney. I have painted the duct in the past when this happens, but it's not perfect. Also, the instructions are horrible.

We purchased this product but it did not fit with our 9 foot ceilings (despite the product description). We now require a ceiling duct cover kit/extension kit in stainless steel which is apparently sold out and/or discontinued. This product comes with a 24 inch duct cover kit, which was already scratched when we removed it from the box. Now, we are now left with an approximately 10 inch gap with no trim at all. Our beautiful, brand new kitchen now looks ridiculous.
