[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Germ Guardian is great at cleaning and purifying the air. When you first install it, you must remember to reset the machine. (I forgot and the machine was blinking and I could not figure out what was wrong.) When you turn on the UV light, it will smell almost like burning but it isn't bad and it dissipates quickly. The Germ Guardian is placed in my bedroom and it really helps me breathe easy at night even with my super dusty apartment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We find this particular filter works excellent with our germ guardian unit. We do not have pets, however we love the performance of this filter. We have an older home that likes to get Dusty on its own even though we clean regularly this filter supplements our air filtration by our furnace. The germ guardian unit was highly recommended by consumer reports when we purchased it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a big room aprox 40' by 25' and this air purifier does not take all the dust out of the air. I bought it to clean the air and get rid of all the flying things in the air that sort of look like dust mites but it didnt help. may need another one to make a difference. I would not buy this again but I bought it for a diff reason other than just cleaning the air.

Tried being cheap and ordered generic filter only find it caused the filter tower did not want to turn on without a genuine filter. Best buy had the best price for what I needed and now my GermGuardian is working as it should.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High grade absorbing material for airborne particles that does wonders for my bedroom There is less dust and thanks to the built in UV light less air borne and surface germs. This filter last about 8 months which is a great value for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very simple and easy set up and install. Just remove old filter and install new one. I use it in our living room where our two dogs hang out and it really helps with pet dander and odors. Just wish it latest longer but still great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air purifier is great. The fan options aren't that loud and it sound like a fan. I'm so used to sleeping with it on that its hard to fall asleep without it. My only complaint is that the filter is expensive and should be priced lower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying there filters for several years, in the past years the filter quality was much better than this one. in the past I had recommended germ guardian I can't do that again since this last filter is of inferior quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We leave this on most of the time. At night we have to lower to level 1 or 2 as it is a bit too noisy to sleep through at the higher settings. The product really works great and for the price it is a nice value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only reason for 4 stars is because of the price otherwise this is a great filter! Really helps out when you have a lot of pet hair or dander floating around. I have 2 big dogs and this helps with my sinuses.
