- Bag of Extra Thingies- November 30, 2018
I have repurchased this item multiple times because I keep losing the same mounting piece so I end up with a bunch of extra pieces sitting around. If you do the same thing, I recommend not losing that part again by labeling it with bright tape. But if you do have to replace it, this bag of extra thingies is pretty much your only option. I’ve considered throwing the extra thingies away so they aren’t in my way, but that would feel wasteful, so I keep them all together in a little nook where they enjoy coffee and scones in their retirement.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great additions and back-ups for my GoPro Mounts- February 17, 2018
Recently bought a GoPro Hero 5 Black. I specifically bought it for hiking and fly fishing. One of my major concerns was losing the screw device used to fasten the camera to the mounts. While looking for a back-up, I found a complete set of replacement mounts, that included the original mounts and screw devices, but added additional mounts and styles of screw devices, for what I felt was a minimal price. One of the mounts fits my chest harness, but mounts it slightly further away from the harness attachment With the standard mount, video showed the ground from about 20' out, unless I leaned forward. This additional mount allows me to tip the camera downward to pick up the ground at about 6' away and easily covers everything I want to see. Double score.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great mounts- July 8, 2019
This is my first time owning a GoPro, and I decided that I wanted to mount it to my helmet. I had no idea how the mounts..uh..mounted, haha, but I was able to figure out everything by messing around with the pieces that came in the box. It would have been great if it had came with some pictures of them being used, or even a few sentences worth of instructions to help me along, but oh well. Now that I know how to release the clasp/buckle thing, it's easy to know which piece goes where. :)Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
