Very easy to order toner and install in printer
- January 1, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw a few years ago and it’s been running on the original toner cartridges until a few weeks ago. When we got the alarm for low toner in the print driver, I was dreading finding the right cartridges, installing them correctly without a big mess...turned out to be a piece of cake...good directions and product. Also directions to leave empty cartridges off at a variety of retail stores for recycling or labels to mail them off to HP was a plus. We had used inkjet printers in the past and got tired of ink clogging up and having to replace cartridges often. This printer prints great every.

Super Vibrant and Rich colors
- March 3, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my 3 pack of Laser Toner cartridges about a week ago, Installed them asap as I was out of the setup toner.... Have used these for about a week now. I print a lot of charts, and the colors are not only vibrant and rich they are just plain AMAZING ! You can even tell the colors from across the room when a paper is posted on the wall. The BLACK is VERY DARK as it should be. Also I haven't noticed any STRAY toner splotches on papers etc. HP IS and always has been the BEST in a GO-TO Printer and their laser jet printers have never let me down (I've used HP since the Laser jet 4 in the 90's). Installation is simple just pull out the tray (printer) and remove sealed tape on cartridges, set them in the tray, printer initializes them in a minute and your ready to go with LOTS of printing... and I mean LOTS these last a LONG time. If your considering a LASER or a COLOR LASER I WOULD NOT HESITATE one bit... and go with a HP Laser... These cartridges are NOT CHEAP Plastic.

a Non-HP cartridge from HP?
- July 13, 2023For reasons yet explained to me, I installed a new Cyan toner cart into my LaserJet Pro (from 2018) and it's telling me I can't use it as the printer thinks it's not a valid-HP cart. It's fully branded HP, including the hologram that's on the box it came in. Made contact w support via Twitter but it's slow going with the back and forth. It's put me out of service for 3 days now.

Wireless Doesn't Work Well
- February 19, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this printer for nearly a year now, and even though it's in the exact same room as my router/modem, and there are no obstructions between them, it is unable to connect daily. It's such a pain in the rear! I've called the customer support line half a dozen times, followed all their instructions while on the phone, and can get it to work for day or two. Then it always goes back to having to unplug the machine, hold the power button for 30 seconds so it drains all power, and replug it in again to see if there's a network connection. I've had to do this more than 50 times, and I'm just plain tired of it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

HP 202x
- March 3, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the M281fdw. I just purchased this printer in December. I need to replace another brand printer. I needed something that was an All in One. I print in color all the time for work. I tried to use generic toner cartridges, the life and color was not crisp and only lasted about 1000 pages. The color with genuine HP toner is so clear, crisp and vibrant. I am at 2000 pages at the time of this review and the color is still as good as the first page I printed. HP genuine toner is worth the little extra money. The printer will also show that the toner needs to be replaced but still continues to print great quality prints. Continue to use the toner until the colors fade.

HP 202X Original Toner
- March 3, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many off brand toners but they always given me problems. At times their chips stop working or their colors are dull. I finally decided to invest in original HP toners. Their print quality is amazing. Blacks are truly black and colors are vibrant. I work as a Financial Advisor for a large company and am constantly printing pamphlets with daily spreadsheets, charts, programs, itineraries, etc... and need my work to look professional. Expensive yes , however quality always comes with a higher cost. If you’re printing for any professional reason use original HP Toner and buy it from a trusted source!

A victim of a firmware update
- December 1, 2020It was necessary for me to buy these cartridges because HP automatically updated the firmware no my printer rendering my 3rd party cartridges useless (until I swap the chips out which I plan on doing when the HP cartridges run dry). Better yet, the firmware update disabled the wired and wireless networking capability of the printer. While this is a known issue with the update, HP has done nothing to rectify it, let alone provide any troubleshooting assistance. It's taken me about a week to figure out how to get the printer to work again on my own. You can bet that I've disabled the automatic firmware up dates on the printer and that I will never buy another genuine HO product again.

Genuinely genuine and worth it
- November 13, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a little awkward to write a review on something as simple as laser toner, but I felt like sharing my experience may help others. I have an HP multi-function print/scan/fax machine and I chew through toner cartridges pretty quickly. I've tried other "generic" brands over the years and have consistently come back to HP genuine cartridges for two main reasons: they seem to last longer and the printer itself can do more accurate diagnostics on how much toner you have left. I also find HP's return-to-recycle program one of the easiest toner recycling programs I've used. It may cost a little more but, in my humble opinion, you're paying for a brand name that lives up to the price.

Clean crisp printing every time
- March 3, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of printing as I sell online and need to print a lot of shipping labels which include bar codes for scanning by the postal service. I chose HP as my printer of choice because having worked in offices that used HP for many years I knew that the LaserJet range were reliable, long lasting and the print quality was exactly what I needed. The 202X dual pack lasts me a very long time and produces the clearest crispest shipping labels with no smudging or distortion which I have experienced with inkjets in the past. I have never had reports of an ineligible barcode. When I do print out letters and choose greyscale over full black, I am equally happy with the way these print out, still very clear, legible and suitable for saving ink by printing in 'draft' before using full Black and White. This really makes your toner last longer too. In terms of actually using these toners, they are so simple to unpack and install and very clean with no mess. You can also recycle them!
