Bought this to replace the old cartridge, problems with printhead ensued. It’s never the same problem, and long story short, I haven’t been able to print a page yet. The old cartridge worked perfectly fine and I never had a problem. Add the inability to track the cartridge on its way to my house, and it was just a pretty bad experience. At least my ink level is full! It’ll be that way until I toss the whole thing in the trash and buy a new printer, preferably not HP.

When they explode in my hands, clothes or on the floor, it more than ruins my day. Cannot possibly give this a 5 star simply because opening them is like waiting for a bomb to explode. They are expensive enough without the cleaning bill. Just when I think it's safe, it happens again. Sorry, no photo. When this happens, it's just not in me to grab a camera. Please note, I will be recommending this product below simply because there is no other choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm locked into this ink due to the HP printer I purchased years ago but I haven't been disappointed because I selected the printer based on the economics of its ink (i.e., cost of the cartridge divided by the number of pages the cartridge could print). The printer I selected had all the features I wanted and had the best cost per printed page in the group I was comparing. HP printers are quality products and their ink cartridges are no different.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As per my summary, I always feel that ink is overpriced. There is absolutely no problem with the print quality when the cartridge is first installed throughout the time that it runs out. However, I do feel that the price of the cartridges is high compared to the length of time before the ink runs out. I would recommend it because there are not many other options out there when you have already bought the printer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buying genuine HP inkjet cartridges are the way to go, especially the high-yield cartridges. I used to try to save money by buying generic cartridges but I actually wasted money. Most of the time the quality was bad or they didn't work right in the printer. These 'genuine' HP cartridges work right every time and the quality and color of the ink is fantastic!

This cartridge does not work properly with my HPOfficejet Pro 6835. I thought at first I just received a bad cartridge. Then HP was kind enough to replace it - no charge. But the second one had the same problem. It prints okay for a fe copies then stops printing completely. I replaced it with the non XL and it works just fine. Regards Joclyn Oats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate the design of this ink cartridge and the cartridge holder in the HP printer because they are made so that cartridges are so easy to load and unload. The ink in this cartridge gives a full black that makes text easy to read in every font size and ink density I use. The ink dries quickly so I never get smudges with multiple printed pages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hmmm, What can I say about ink? Well, first of all you need it to print words on paper and this does that perfectly. Secondly, while it is a much needed item, the price of ink is waaayyy too much. Wish it could be at least half the price I paid, but like I said above it is needed to print words on paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP ink is what came with my HP printer, therefore I replaced the ink with the same HP brand ink.I did however use the larger size replacement since it was not much more Expensive than the smaller size.It seems to work normal. Replacing all of the ink colors costs as much as the printer itself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with my purchase of the 934XL black ink cartridge for my HP printer. This cartridge works as expected for an OEM cartridge. Since the packaging is changing to color and black cartridges in one offering, I was glad to pick this up as I use black ink more often then the color carts.
