[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered Insignia 17th Ft upright freezer online, picked up from store, as delivery to my address was not an option. Unboxed and let it sit for 24 hours before plugging it in. Set it to 0 degrees Fahrenheit per instructions. Let it run an hour or so. Placed unfrozen popsicles on each shelf in the freezer to monitor freezing. Checked the next day as it takes a while to come up to temperature. Items on the bottom shelf were beginning to freeze, but no others. On day 2, items on the bottom shelf were hard frozen. Items on the next shelf up was soft frozen. The items on the top two shelves were not frozen at all, not even slushy, completely liquid. 4 days later and all the items in the freezer are in the exact same condition. Nothing frozen on the top two shelves at all and on the third shelf down, the popsicle seems to be thawing. I called the customer service number on the appliance, told him what the display said as instructed. The agent stated I’d done everything right and he doesn’t know what’s wrong. He offered for a technician to come out to diagnose the problem and recommend replace or repair. I stated I have no interest in having to possibly repair a brand new item out of the box, as it’s telling of the poor quality and indicates potential future problems. My only option is to load it back up and drive 1.5 hours to my nearest Best Buy store. Not sure if I even want to replace it and try again. Shameful that this is the quality of material that is being sold to the public, especially an item over $700.

It has a little chime that goes off when the door opens that alerts be when my ex is doing his grocery shopping from MY refrigerator. (He has own apt downstairs ) It also shows the temp on the door and has many shelves. It looks nice, performs well and is just what I needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer was made for our pantry, it fits perfectly and we lose the stainless look. Works perfectly so far, couldn’t be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of these for my garage. One as a refrigerator and one as a freezer. We are 6 months in and overall the units are really nice. They maintain their temps and have a fair amount of storage space. The 3-star rating is for the quality of the units. I have had issues with the handles on both units. One, I was able to remedy myself. The other, the handle completely broke off. I contacted Insignia and was told this is a wear and tear issue and that it is not covered by the warranty. Really? After less than 6 months of use, it’s going to break. So, overall, the unit is good but don’t expect help from the manufacturer if you have an issue.

So I bought 2 of these cause I wanted a matching set in my kitchen and needed a new freezer. Overall it is a awesome purchase. I didn't take long for them to get cold and shipping was pretty fast also. Only down side for me, but a big one.... you won't be able to flip the door. So if you want to open them french door style, forget it ...most appliances these days have that option....why not this one? Still scratching my head about that. With that said, if the door is not a issue for you, don't even hesitate and buy this cause it's awesome. For me, not being able to flip the door was a major disappointment. Cheers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the freezer. The drawer and shelves allow me to separate everything I have in there. The temperature control on the door lets me set the temp inside. I also like the it beeps when you open and close the door. It’ll also beep if you leave it open to remind you to close it. The stainless steel door allows me to write on it with white board markers to keep track of what is inside. Best decision to buy this freezer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great freezer. I love the fact with a push of a button, it can convert to a refrigerated Very spacious in side and easy to organize frozen items. After we purchased it our refrigerator went out so it was perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product so far. Using primarily as a beer storage fridge. Glass shelves needed some reinforcement so I used some tension bars but all in all great stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Apparently the fridge was dropped or something during manufacturing or delivery. I didn’t pay for a scratch and dent model but that’s what I have received.
