This TV bracket was extremely easy to install into a 2x4 studded wall. The bracket is very sturdy. The only suggestion I would caution is, depending on the size of your TV, hook all the cables up before mounting the TV. The clearance between the wall and the TV (which we wanted) is very tight.

if you have everything flush, a large tv (closer to 80") will not clip in at the top of this mouny because the top of the TV will hit the wall. Poorly designed and a huge waste of time

This is a decent wall mount, very flush to wall. Perfect for a flat back TV, I have a 55" Samsung and it looks like it would be fine for at least a 65, probably larger depending on the TV back. I know it can adjust for TV's that have a bit of a protrusion in the back, but make sure you know the clearances before you buy. Once installed the TV can still be moved a bit side to side and can also be removed from the wall mount (carefully!) using the locking feature. Handy to run new cables, because once it's up there's no room to put your hand behind it to connect anything. Seems okay overall, meets my needs.

I bought this on the advice of staff at BB, telling me it would be perfect with any tv. Well, it's not. I had a contractor in to install and the bracket does not have enough holes to adapt to the TV. It is on my wall, but the bracket shows about an inch below the TV. Really ugly. Would have doubled my cost for him to come back. I wish that BB would provide better training for its staff. This person gave me the wrong advice. Frustrating!

I see people complaining about the mount not working with larger TVs, this is in correct. You have to add the spacers that are included in order to be able to clip TVs, all mounts work this way. If you don't want to use spacers you can get a full motion mount for that pushes back into the wall, note this will stick out as far as using spacers with the flat mount (also double the price). I've used this mount with hundreds of different TV sizes including many 85"

Was told by the staff this would work for my 75" Sony Bravia. The packaging indicates this as well. Mounted everything flush, a large TV (closer to 75") will not clip in at the top of this mount because the top of the TV will hit the wall. Poorly designed. Huge waste of time.

Sold to me by Best Buy salesperson with a 65 inch Samsung Q9. As already mentioned it does not fit larger TVs with a flat back. Poor product and poor advice from Best Buy. Its useless and going back to the store.

I returned the Sanus that I bought because I wanted a mount that sat closer the wall. I read some bad reviews on here about the mount not working for larger TVs which really concerned me. I’m mounting a 85” Samsung with a flat back. I was replacing an older Samsung 65” that also had a similar Insignia mount. The first thing I noticed was that the old mint was far superior in terms of quality and strength. Even the hardware was better. Most of the concerns with the other reviews is about not being able to get the larger TVs on the mount because of the top of the TV hitting the wall. With my TV it was the top 2 bolts and they sure did a hack job on my wall trying to get the TV on. One the the hooks even bent which I used pliers to straighten back. I ended up needing to cut down the spacers which gave me just enough clearance for the TV to sit on the mount, I’m not even sure if it’s locked in. Make sure you get all your cables plugged in before hanging because you won’t want to be taking a TV off this mount. This is a cheap mount and I would not recommend it for a larger TV but it was all Best Buy carried for low profile.

This will NOT work with large TVs.. impossible to tilt the tv to mount and hook the brackets without wall interferance..complete junk.

I bought this one,The design problem made it impossible for me to install the TV, so I had to return it.
