I found this product very underwhelming, although it is the best you can get for the price, it's not very good. It takes insanely long to heat anything up and the door and beeps are quite loud. On the bright side, it is simple to use.

Worked fairly well for 2 years with below-average use, then the motor died. Considering all the microwaves I have owned (and researched average lifespan of a microwave) lasting 6-10 years... I have to say I am very disappointed. As a first-time Insignia product owner, I will never purchase the name again. Unreliable, imo.

Gave away out 10 year old microwave, and bought this...The sound of door opening is loud, when turn it on, it is loud and noisy.

Just opened up and all the legs are wobbly and the door is not the same height as the rest of the microwave. Very disappointed. This is not my week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous to purchase this based on the other reviews but the price was really good for the size. I've had this microwave for a couple of weeks now and it works great. Mine is not uneven and it does not burn things. I use the popcorn button all the time - it has several different selections for popcorn - and it never gets burnt. The only downside is something that someone eluded to on here - when you press the button to open the door, the microwave can move a little. But I've mastered how to do it now so it doesn't move. Overall, good product and I am happy with my purchase.

It does what a microwave is supposed to do. Door closes a bit loud, beeps at you when the timer goes off, makes food hot. Some dishes take a bit longer to heat than others, but overall it warms up my leftovers, exactly what a microwave is meant for.

I bought this microwave 29 months ago I now have to replace it as the paint peeled off the interior base .You get what you pay for . I would not purchase this brand again.

We purchased this microwave for my parents. My Father is 93 years old and has macular degenerative disease (partially blind). He just loves to be able to run the micro on his own knowing that when he hits the Start button he already has 30 seconds running time that he can count on this without having to find another button to set. Works good but can't warm something and use the countdown timer at the same time. If you're using the countdown timer, forget about using it to heat anything up. If you're already heating something up, forget about setting another timer. Seems like a small problem, but you'll be surprised how much you miss such a basic features when used to being able to do so
