[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should've known not to go with another Joby. I've had two GorillaPods which eventually came apart, through the years, so decided to try this pricier model. I do a lot of hiking and thought the compactness of this model would be an improvement over the GorillaPods. Mistake. First of all, the telescoping elements were very difficult to open and close. Then, just having used it for only a month, the clamp device which holds the phone broke both of its teeth. They're plastic, not metal. I have a standard iPhone 14 with a case, nothing unusual. Buyer beware.

Preface: I've bought cheaper versions of this tripod. Some remotes didn't work after the initial set up. Some tripods were flimsy. Some were unsteady. Which led me to shelling out the cost for this Joby telepod mobile tripod. I've used it through the Christmas festivities and it provided that extra hand to take group pictures. Pro: I like how compact it is, in that it fits in my small purse. The selfie stick is comfortable in the hand. I like how easy it is to use. I like the 3 legs, it's quite stable, especially on cobble stone paths. Con: Slight con, the telescope lock isn't so obvious, so it takes a few tries to lock them. Other than the slight con, I am very satisfied with this tripod and I can't wait to use it during my solo travels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like all things that JOBY make it dose a good job. Thou with my Samsung fold2 i really push it to the limits. It would be great for light weight camers or small phones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a Tripod for my Recopoint Pop 1 3D scanner. The scanner was supposed to have one but it was missing from the box. Revopoint did promptly credit me for it. This Tripod is a very sturdy construction with a telescopic center pole. There is some type of Remote Control included. I think it is a remote camera trip for some phones. Construction is very good and proper materials were used to make a quality piece of equipment. It does have a phone holder but I bought another version with threaded fastener on bottom and top so I could stack the 3D Scanner on top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most worst product , never was able to use more than once. 1) The Bluetooth Device disconnects on every click. 2) On Iphone 13-Pro the holder simply loses it's grip. 4) The position of the holding grip is very wrongly placed, it is interfering with the iPhone SOS call activation mode automatically. 5) Worst, worst, worst my entire vacation got spoiled and i missed the chance of capturing moments. DO NOT TAKE EVEN IF SOMEONE GIVES YOU FREE **********************

I added an attachment for my GoPro and bought a more solid feeling cell phone clamp because the iPhone 13 Pro is a big phone and didn't feel secure with the included device clamp. Now the bad news - the remote does not attach very well and you will lose it the first time you leave the house unless it is in your pocket. I had to order a replacement remote from the manufacturer - I've been waiting for three weeks.
