It's easy to install and progress is immediately after the installation. The 120gb has enough capacity to storage and perform ten times faster than a normal would do. I totally reccomend to upgrade to this a400 , it's a really good investment that make your work easy and fast, and the best thing is that is compatible with most computer brands. This kingston product is trustable, efficient and rich in technology, absolutely the best drive to maximize all your desire desktop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this Kingston A400 SSD to my laptop as a secondary internal drive. On my laptop installation was pretty easy. I am a visual learner so I had to look up a video to ensure installation went smooth. Surprisingly it wasn’t as difficult as I had imagined. I moved most large files from my main hard drive to the Kingston A400 including game files and rebooted my laptop. After doing so I saw a nice increase in startup speed and my laptop runs a lot smoother. SSD drives use to be extremely expensive but now that they are affordable it’s worth replacing the old standard SATA drives. Overall a good experience and a great addition to my laptop performance.

I got the 480GB version and it performs very admirably. This is going to speed up any computer that is using any hard drive, even the more expensive ones. You can also use these disks in raid configuration to eek out even more performance out of them. I highly recommend these to anyone who is still on a spinning hard drive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] picked this drive up for a boot up drive for a back up pc, it works really well, and looks great, it is not the fasted ssd drive on the market but one of the best bangs for your buck you can get, i would recommend anyone looking to build a budget pc to grab one of these drives,maybe grab a much bigger one tho as in todays standards a 120gb is a really small drive, some games i have on my pc will not even fit on this 1 drive, but as just a boot drive or a mobile netbook or something it is perfect for that.i own 8 or 9 of the Kingston hard drives and some are 4-5 years old and still going strong as they was the day i bought them, that is why i keep going back to the Kingston brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Review is on the Kingston A400 - 480GB. This solid state drive provides performance so much better than the mechanical hard drive. Real world performance is what matters, and the difference between HDD and SSD is huge. I just want Windows to boot up fast, and with Kingston A400 480GB it seems to be twice as fast, so I am extremely pleased with this SSD and I would highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this drive to upgrade my laptop from its original 5400rpm drive. The difference in processing and data transfer speeds is blinding. I can reliably move large files at 500mbs to 1.1gbs now. It's like having a brand new computer again. I'm happy with my system and now I don't feel the need to drop more money on a new one. It was worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this ssd drive to speed up my slowing laptop. I've replaced 2 other computers with solid state drives with different brands, no issues. This Kingston drive was on sale so I thought why not. If you want to clone this drive, it does not come with or offer any cloning software. I was not aware of this as it's not found in the specs. I found some of the freeware will not directly clone the drive without purchasing the full version. I consulted a computer repair buddy and he got it copied. If you buying to clone a drive and you don't have cloning software don't buy this Kingston drive.

This SSD is really fast and my games load up way faster than before with HDD. Very happy and I highly recommend this ssd for anyone looking to upgrade their PC or just want to add another SSD to their pc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this product it has increased the speed on my computer which was greatly lagging but I didn't want to spend a lot. This product has helped drastically with low cost and comes with a warranty. Its not the fastest on the market but will do just fine if your not a big company. When opening programs while using this drive there is no lag like you would experience before purchasing. That was always my biggest complaint on computers because I could never afford to buy the top of the line computer but just simply adding this drive to one I could afford it made such a difference.
