I USED MY OLD BLENDER TO MAKE HUMMUS, BUT THE MOTOR STARTED SMOKING!! I THINK THIS CHOPPER WILL DO A GREAT JOB WITH GARBANZOS FOR HUMMUS, ALSO BASIL, GARLIC, PARMESAN AND OLIVE OIL FOR PESTO, AND FOR THANKSGIVING I ALWAYS MAKE A DELICIOUS SAUCE WITH CRANBERRY, ONIONS, SOUR CREAM, SUGAR AND HORSERADISH...THIS WILL BE WONDERFUL!!

Met all my expectations, and then some!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little food chopper/processor. Perfect for making small meals and snacks! I found the 3.5 cup size to be just right for casual use. Very compact, aesthetically pleasing, and highly efficient. Does exactly what it says it will on the box! Helped us to make our Christmas lunch spread. Family were stoked! I thought the button in the handle was a smart feature and in combination with the speed settings, I felt like it gave me better control over how I chopped my foods. Bonus points is that it is top rack dishwasher safe. So cleaning it up is a breeze. I would buy this again but would recommend the 5 cup size if you plan on making larger portions!

    Raising the bar

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Since purchasing this jem, I've upped my game by leaps and bounds. From homemade marinara, to Portuguese bbq chicken rub with peri peri sauce. Money cannot buy the honor that I have earned here today. So I'll just keep creating dishes that otherwise would've been out of reach, until now...

My best birthday present in 85 years!

    Reviewed by - June 19, 2025

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I treated myself on my 85th birthday on May 25th & am very pleased with my food chopper. KitchenAid is a brand that I've loved for many decades, not only the small appliances, but also the large ones! I lived in my house in North Vancouver for 55 years & during that time I had my kitchen completely replaced 3 times. The last time, in 2012, every appliance was KitchenAid. Sadly, my husband passed away in 2018, and 3 years later I had to sell my house, but luckily, found a condo 6 km away. I hate the appliances here & miss my old kitchen. My heritage is Hungarian, I love to cook & make soups and stews from scratch. My food chopper comes in so handy! I also use it to make pesto sauce. The KitchenAid Food Chopper was the best birthday present that I have ever given myself! I look forward to making soups in the fall and winter.

    Great chopper

    Reviewed by - August 2, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased it last month and been using it for different purposes from chopping ingredients for chilli paste or grind some nuts using different setting and overall I'm impressed with the result. This is a chopper so don't expect the result to be the same like using a blender for much finer result. I think this operate and has the same function with the larger size of chopper, but I was looking for the smaller machine to frequently make my own chilli paste and this does the job. The only downside is the machine operate with wire which I'd personally prefer the wireless product. Still happy with the purchase.

The Best Food chopper in the market

    Reviewed by - February 5, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best chopper I have in so many years, Its compact doesn't take much of the counter space and I love how it has space to wrap the wire around it. Now coming to the features, Its so easy to use with chop & puree setting & I have chopped nuts, parmesan cheese, all kind of veggies. The puree setting is good for making sauces & pastes. I use lot of garlic & ginger in my cooking & this chopper helps me in chopping it finely everyday. Also I have also kneaded 1 cup of flour in it & I was amazed how soft it the dough was. The Best part if its dishwasher safe along with the blade & I dont have to worry about washing it :-) KItchen Aid appliances always exceeds the expectation.

KitchenAid -3.5 cup mini food chopper

    Reviewed by - March 11, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my new chopper about a month ago and love it. It’s small enough to leave out on my benchtop and so simple to use. I have a large food processor which I have held on to just in case I wanted to go back to it but now I will be getting rid of it now. Getting all the pieces out of a cupboard, putting it together, then having to wash its countless parts, and put it all back in the cupboard is not something I want to do ever again. I love my new little chopper which suits my lifestyle totally and with one blade and the 3.5 cup container, it’s super easy to clean and makes the job of chopping a breeze. Also, the onboard cord storage is a bonus, keeping it compact and less messy if left out.

From making baby food for my grandson, to creating wonderful sauces and pesto, I wouldn't be without it. Looks amazing next to my stand mixer too.

Works great for parmesan, other stuff

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 27, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of this and easy of use. Parts are well made and easy to assemble once you've figured out how to do it. The first time it took about 5 minutes to take it apart and reassemble it, partly because initially they didn't turn easily and the instructions are not helpful. Make sure you practice ahead of time with an empty bowl! It got much easier once it was washed. Grating parmesan was super fast on chop, and it did a great job on a garlic/ginger puree (always cut pieces up small first). The push-button handle makes pulsing a cinch. This replaces an old Cuisinart DLC-1 which is slightly smaller. Very happy with this purchase.
